A momentary lapse in concentration from KorwinMikke enables Silva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. KorwinMikke manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Straud closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slater circles away.
Slater throws a hook but Straud blocks it.
Slater is looking to land body kicks.

Horrible takedown attempt by Straud or perhaps it was just good defense by Slater, which made it look bad.
Straud tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Slater defends well and Straud ends up having to push Slater into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Po Panda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vince Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda blocks a jab.
Vince Dixon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dixon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dixon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Panda manages to avoid it.
Dixon will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Dixon fails to land the takedown.
Dixon connects with the punch.

It looks like Po Panda has been cut.
Dixon just misses with a punch to the body.
Panda throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dixon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Dixon throws a leg kick but Panda sees it coming and checks it nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dixon tries to clinch but Panda moves out of range.

Dixon has closed the distance and engaged Panda in a clinch.
Panda is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Dixon lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Panda lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dixon wants to get back to full guard.
Dixon slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dixon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Poor strikes thrown by Dixon there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
