The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levi misses with a two punch combination.
Levi scores with a nice right hand.
Lemana takes one to the chin there.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lemana ducks under a wild hook from Levi.
Nice uppercut there from Levi.

It looks like Joe Lemana has been cut.
Levi lands with a nice body punch.
Levi clobbers Lemana with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lemana is looking to chop away at Levi's legs.
Levi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lemana.
Lemana finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lemana throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Lemana shoots for a takedown but Levi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Levi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lemana seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Levi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Frank Sirpico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rasputin tries a knee to the head but Sirpico blocks it.
Rasputin stalling the fight.
Sirpico tries to pull guard but Rasputin won't allow it.
Rasputin lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Rasputin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rasputin lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sirpico or not.

We've been hearing reports that Sirpico has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

and Rasputin counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Sirpico has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Cruz's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Van De Velde connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cruz scrambles back to his feet.

and Van De Velde counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Cruz takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Van De Velde lands a left and a right that send Cruz crashing to the mat, dazed. Van De Velde thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jos Cruz's cut is getting worse.

Van De Velde clinches up with Cruz and pushes him back against the cage.
Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cruz seems to have got his legs back now.

Cruz has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Van De Velde.

Van De Velde cracks Cruz with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Cruz looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Van De Velde finish him?
Van De Velde lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Cruz crumples to the floor! Van De Velde milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Risley is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Townsley will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

It looks like Risley might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Risley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Price has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Price lands a really nice looking cross but Costello seems unphased.
Price lands a nice looking body shot.
Nice straight punches there by Price. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Price.
Price fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Price misses with a wild combination.
Costello wants to clinch but Price slips to the side
and Price counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Costello definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Price wants to control but Costello is keeping busy.
