The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Gomez misses its intended target. Gomez misses with an uppercut. Bhatt looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Oooh a lovely combination from Bhatt sends Gomez down but not out. Bhatt dives into side control looking to finish.
It looks like Cadiz Gomez has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bhatt trying to control the action but Gomez is working from the bottom. Gomez struggling a bit here. Bhatt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gomez keeps working. Gomez is pushing Bhatt's head away, looking to escape. Bhatt manages to hold on to the position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bhatt throws an elbow but Gomez slips to the side and avoids it well. The strikes coming from Bhatt are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Gomez throws the left hand but Bhatt avoids the punch easily. Bhatt moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Bhatt rushes Gomez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bhatt makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Bhatt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've been informed that Gomez has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Bhatt doesn't manage to clinch there - Gomez circles away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Salonga. Salonga throws a right hand that Vyaschelov ducks under and follows up with a left that Vyaschelov also avoids with ease. Salonga scores with a one two! Vyaschelov had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Vyaschelov tries to clinch up but Salonga circles away and keeps his distance. Asiong Salonga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Salonga stalks Vyaschelov and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vyaschelov's face. Vyaschelov staggers backwards, shaken. Salonga throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Vyaschelov is rocked! You can follow us on Twitter at...Ooooooh Vyaschelov got wobbled bad by a big combination! Salonga presses forward with punches and knees until Vyaschelov stumbles to the ground! The ref watches Vyaschelov closely before deciding to step in and end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gregoire misses with a takedown attempt - Halo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Halo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nice straight punches there by Halo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Halo. Halo stuffs the takedown attempt from Gregoire. Gregoire gets slowly back to his feet. Gregoire misses with a takedown attempt - Halo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Xu Halo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Gregoire. Halo clinches up with Gregoire and pushes him back against the cage. Halo scores with a nice hook to the head. Halo is working Gregoire over against the cage. Halo lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Gregoire backwards. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gregoire changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Halo fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gregoire looks winded! Halo lands with an uppercut that bounces Gregoire off the cage and back into range. Halo drops Gregoire with a beautiful combination! Gregoire stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Halo is looking for the KO! Halo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Halo connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Gregoire to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Halo!

Tamaso throws a right hand that Pops ducks under and follows up with a left that Pops also avoids with ease. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pops checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Pops has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Pops thows a left - swing and a miss! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Pops checks a leg kick. Nice sprawl there from Tamaso as Pops shoots in.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tamaso misses with a wild body shot. Pops with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tamaso to score with a decent uppercut. Pops takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Pops seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tamaso does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Tamaso is looking to improve his position.

Tamaso has control of Pops's left arm, preventing Pops from doing any damage. Pops is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Tamaso manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pops manages to get himself to full guard.
Pops is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Tamaso rolls with it to try and escape but Pops cranks on the arm and Tamaso is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Li-Taylor fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hirozaki has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Li-Taylor scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Hirozaki is rocked! Li-Taylor drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Hirozaki's head, knocking him out cold! Li-Taylor is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Katuro Tisoaka! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maxiq lands a jab to Tisoaka's midsection. Tisoaka takes a body punch but keeps moving. Tisoaka misses with a two punch combination.
Maxiq lands a right hook to the body.
Tisoaka shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Maxiq manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. My spies in Tussle inform me that Tisoaka has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Maxiq has his foot on Tisoaka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tisoaka works his way back into a safe position though. Tisoaka not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Maxiq is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. This has been an exciting period of action! Tisoaka trying to control the position from guard on top but Maxiq is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tisoaka working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Tisoaka is working Maxiq over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Tisoaka postures up in Maxiq's guard and throws a big left but Maxiq blocks it. Maxiq wants to sweep but no luck. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Maxiq has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tisoaka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tisoaka avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Tisoaka has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tisoaka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maxiq has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tisoaka has managed to get both his arms back between Maxiq's legs - danger averted. Tisoaka forces his way into half guard. Tisoaka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maxiq keeps working. Maxiq knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tisoaka on the ground. Maxiq looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Maxiq is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tisoaka pulls his head out easily. Tisoaka is looking to take a break and control but Maxiq is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tisoaka controlling the action here. Maxiq looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jitsu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Reznick. Reznick throws a body kick that misses. Reznick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Reznick tries a low kick but Jitsu avoids it. Jitsu dives in and grabs Reznick's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reznick pushes down on Jitsu's head and hops out. Jitsu fails with a takedown attempt. Jitsu drives through with a takedown into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Jitsu postures up.
Reznick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jitsu on the ground. Reznick preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jitsu postures up in Reznick's guard and throws a big left but Reznick blocks it. Reznick preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jitsu looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reznick is adopting a defensive guard. Jitsu throws a strike but Reznick rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jitsu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jitsu keeping moving, preventing Reznick from controlling successfully. Jitsu looking for a guillotine here but Reznick defends easily.
