2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jake Greenberg! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body punch from Greenberg. Hayabusa wants to clinch. Hayabusa walks into a stiff left hand from Greenberg. Greenberg throws a right and a left that both miss. Greenberg scores with a hook to the body. Hayabusa takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Nice uppercut lands for Greenberg. That snapped Hayabusa's head back.
Greenberg misses with a two punch combination.
Hayabusa tries to clinch there but Greenberg circles away.
Greenberg scores with a punch to the head. Greenberg stuffs the takedown attempt from Hayabusa. Hayabusa gets slowly back to his feet. Greenberg lands a nice hook to Hayabusa's body. Hayabusa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Hayabusa fails with a takedown attempt. Hayabusa misses with a few strikes there.
Greenberg scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hayabusa doesn't seem bothered though. Hayabusa clinches up with Greenberg and pushes him back against the cage. Hayabusa has Greenberg pressed against the cage, preventing Greenberg from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Hayabusa pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Greenberg is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Greenberg wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hayabusa lands a nice knee to the body. Greenberg is pressed up against the cage. Hayabusa has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Greenberg down to the mat. Greenberg avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Greenberg has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Greenberg manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hayabusa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Greenberg tries to avoid it but Hayabusa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Greenberg to the ground. Greenberg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hayabusa is breathing heavily. Hayabusa on the wrong end of a nice hook. Greenberg with a nice cross. Hayabusa looks for a takedown but Greenberg sprawls well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Greenberg throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hayabusa on the side of the head. Hayabusa closes the distance but Greenberg moves to the side and Greenberg moves into the clinch. Greenberg can't break the clinch.
Greenberg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Greenberg scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Greenberg lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hayabusa at a distance.
Hayabusa takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Greenberg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Greenberg scores with a punch to the head. Hayabusa shoots in for a takedown but Greenberg shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Greenberg feints a jab promting Hayabusa to slip. Greenberg then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hayabusa slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Hayabusa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Greenberg tries to bum rush Hayabusa with a series of wild strikes but Hayabusa uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Greenberg misses with a series of wild punches.
Greenberg has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. A looping hook to the body misses from Greenberg. Hayabusa does a little dance to reset his feet. A cross from Greenberg lands. Greenberg connects with the punch. Greenberg keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hayabusa walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Greenberg leaves Hayabusa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Hayabusa counters with a takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Hayabusa throws a strike aimed at the side of Greenberg's head but Greenberg avoids it well. Hayabusa in side control, throwing shots but Greenberg defends. Greenberg is not content to let Hayabusa control the position. Greenberg wants to get back to his feet but Hayabusa drags him back down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryu Hayabusa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hayabusa shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Greenberg thuds a left hand into Hayabusa's body. Hayabusa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Greenberg paws at him with a jab and circles away. Greenberg lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hayabusa is rocked! Hayabusa takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Oh Hayabusa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jake Greenberg seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. and Greenberg counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Hayabusa! He's just covering up as Greenberg starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! David gets a double leg takedown into Goodman's guard. David throwing strikes but missing. David trying to control but Goodman is working from the bottom. David in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Goodman can't keep his opponent in guard - David advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. David working the head and body with strikes. David throwing shots but Goodman is blocking nicely. Goodman flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Volkov wants to improve his position but Durango is controlling well.

Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kabelis misses with an elbow from the bottom. Salas looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kabelis is looking for a sweep. Salas has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kabelis! Salas is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kabelis has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kabelis swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Salas blocks Kabelis's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
