The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn tries to keep at a distance but Diggins has taken the fight into the clinch. Diggins lands an elbow inside that Penn shrugs off.
It looks like James Penn has been cut. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Penn pulls guard effortlessly. Penn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Diggins defends well. Penn looking to control.
Penn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Diggins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Diggins avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
