The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Canuck creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Quilla sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Canuck tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Canuck has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Canuck has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Quilla is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Canuck lets go of the hold and Quilla can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andy Berdich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Mooseheads (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac Mooseheads told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
