The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Christ!
Christ is trying to get back to his feet.
Christ wants to control but Rodriguez postures up.
Rodriguez is looking to take a break and control but Christ is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rodriguez postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Rodriguez throws a strike aimed at the side of Christ's head but Christ avoids it well.
Christ takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Rodriguez in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Christ is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rodriguez is controlling him well.

Rodriguez lands a strong strike to the head of Christ. That's dazed him! Rodriguez looking to finish here. Christ is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Rodriguez lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

The fight stays on the outside here - Hardon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bender fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hardon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bender showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hardon.
Hardon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bender's waist but Bender gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hardon off to one side.
A shot to the liver by Hardon. Beautiful body shot.
Bender lands the left hand.
Bender stuffs the takedown.
Hardon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hardon sizes up Bender with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A lazy left from Bender finds it's target.

We've been told by Bender's head coaches at LOD: GRITTY'S ELITE KILLAS that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Hardon moves out of range of the strikes.
Bender lands a high kick!
Hardon's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bender connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hardon scrambles back to his feet.

Hardon avoids the body shot from Bender.
Bender takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bender lands with a good body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bender takes a swing at Hardon's ribcage but misses.

Bender throws a lazy right hand but Hardon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bender looks to score with a jab to the body but Hardon is just out of range.
Bender throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bender scoring well with a low kick there.
Hardon keeps the fight on the outside.
Bender cracks Hardon with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hardon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bender defends well and Hardon ends up having to push Bender into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Blake Bender has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Medium Hardon.
Hardon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hardon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hardon throws a shot from downtown. Bender moves away and avoids it.
Bender misses the shot to the body.
Bender waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hardon.
Hardon wants to clinch up but Bender keeps it at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bender throws a big shot that misses.
Bender swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hardon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Hardon struggles to land a body shot inside as Bender controls his hands.
Bender misses with a hook from the clinch.

Bender throws a head punch that misses.
Hardon is looking to take this one to the mat.

Hardon manages to break the clinch.
Hardon is trying desperately to land a takedown but Bender is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hardon.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hardon throwing strikes from guard but Bender blocks nicely.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hardon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hardon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Blake Bender dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Nice defenses there by Hardon.
Hardon takes one on the button.
Hardon defending well as Bender loads up on a big left hand.
Hardon on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Hardon misses with an uppercut
enabling Bender to counter with a crisp jab.
Bender connects with a jab.
Bender looks to land a left hand but Hardon moved out of range nicely.
Hardon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bender can pounce on him.
Bender fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hardon manages to avoid it.
Bender cracks a nice hook into Hardon's ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bender uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hardon.
Bender slips a jab from Hardon.
Bender bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hardon's head backwards.

Bender gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hardon throws a sloppy body shot
and Bender counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bender connects with a nice looking jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Bender.
Hardon is rocked!
Bender throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hardon is still on wobbly legs! Can Bender finish him?
Bender cracks Hardon on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Hardon falls backwards against the cage. Bender follows up with more strikes that drop Hardon to his knees. Bender keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Hardon! This one is all over!

Barca fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hun tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barca was well out of range. Poor timing from Hun.
Hun has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Barca fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Hun checks it well.
Barca misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hun is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barca.
Barca looks to land a combination but Hun avoids it well.
Barca misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hun throws a lazy right hand but Barca sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hun lands a big head kick that sends Barca tumbling to the mat! Hun takes a step backwards and waves Barca back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Hannibal Barca has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barca looks up at the clock. Bad move! Hun lands a right hand from hell, dropping Barca. Hun pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Attila Hun is the new light heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Attila Hun thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
