The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Browne has his takedown stuffed and Bekas counters with a stiff right hand. Bekas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bekas lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Browne down.
Bekas grinds an elbow into Browne's temple. Bekas tries to score with some ground and pound. Browne controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Browne manages to get back to half guard. Browne avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bekas. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bekas is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bekas tries to pass to full mount but Browne defends it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bekas connects with a nice short shot to Browne's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bekas takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Browne wants to control but Bekas is keeping busy.
Bekas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Browne is just riding it out for now. Bekas eventually gives up the hold. Browne won't allow Bekas to pass to mount. Bekas trying to work for an americana but Browne has managed to regain full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Browne is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Bekas trying to control but Browne is working from the bottom. Bekas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Browne on the ground. Bekas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bekas slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Browne is looking to stand up but Bekas isn't so interested in that idea.

We've been hearing good reports from Bekas's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Bekas looks up at the clock and then as Browne takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bekas smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bekas is looking for a sweep. Browne stands up. Bekas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Browne napping and manages to drive through into side control! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. You can see the frustration on Browne's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Browne manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bekas throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Browne escapes and throws Bekas's legs to the side, diving into side control! Browne gets to mount! Bekas was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Bekas wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Browne has good solid back control here. Bekas is trying to break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Browne is cranking Bekas's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Bekas! He's tightened the choke and Bekas is tapping out!

Sanayev scrambles back to his feet. Regalado lands with an overhand left. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Regalado fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sanayev takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Sanayev walks straight into a right hand from Regalado - that's dropped him! Regalado jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Driver jabs Luck right on the nose. Luck blinks but takes it well. Driver throws a leg kick but Luck sees it coming and checks it nicely. Luck fails in his attempt to clinch. Rusty Driver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Luck ducks under a wild hook from Driver. Driver's corner calls for a 1-2. Driver obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Driver pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Driver pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Luck tries to clinch up. Luck closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Luck tightens his grip and picks Driver up, before dumping him to the ground. Driver manages to land in guard. Luck stays in close to Driver's body and controls the position. Luck won't allow Driver to get back to his feet. Luck is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Too Luck hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Driver bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Too Luck has been cut. Nice uppercut there from Driver. This has been an exciting period of action! Driver cracks a nice hook into Luck's ribs. Crack! Driver connects with the perfect overhand right and Luck falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Driver!

Stairs shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mihailovic as he avoids it easily. Nice defenses there by Mihailovic.
