The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Carter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rex.
Rubin Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rex has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Carter looks to land a left hand but Rex moved out of range nicely.

Rex decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Rex covers up and Carter unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Firecam tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kholin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Firecam stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Dalinar Kholin has been cut.
Kholin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Firecam's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kholin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Firecam scrambles back to his feet.

Firecam bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kholin's head backwards.

Firecam lands a big uppercut and Kholin crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kholin looks OK. Firecam waves Kholin back to his feet!

Maanpohja misses with a takedown attempt - Psmith sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Psmith feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Maanpohja sprawling to the canvas! Maanpohja rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Psmith finish him?!
