The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Halo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Halo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Sun Tzu misses with a head kick.
Halo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Halo throws a hook but Sun Tzu avoids it easily. Halo cracks Sun Tzu with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sun Tzu looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Halo finish him?
Oh Sun Tzu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Halo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sun Tzu circles away quickly and effectively. Sun Tzu takes a body punch but keeps moving. Sun Tzu seems to have got his legs back now. A head kick by Sun Tzu misses and Halo counters with a leg kick.

Halo lands with an uppercut that bounces Sun Tzu off the cage and back into range. Sun Tzu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Sun Tzu misses with a wild combination.

Nice defenses there by Sun Tzu. Halo moves out of range of the body kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sun Tzu throws a sloppy head kick and Halo moves out of range easily.

He thinks about going to the ground but Sun Tzu looks back up at him and smiles so Halo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Nice cross by Sun Tzu. Sun Tzu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Halo. Halo throws a body shot but no joy. Sun Tzu throws a leg kick but Halo moved away. Sun Tzu ducks under a wild hook from Halo. Sun Tzu keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Halo. A lazy left from Halo finds it's target.
Bruce Sun Tzu's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Halo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Zerachiel Halo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bruce Sun Tzu's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sun Tzu walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Sun Tzu limp body while Halo jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

We've been informed that Rage has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Hoffman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rage swivels and escapes. Rage misses with a low kick. Rage connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Rage wants to land a leg kick but Hoffman is out of range. Rage lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hoffman 's sensitive parts. Rage keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. We've been hearing reports that Hoffman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Rage scores with a punch to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A nice inside leg kick there by Rage. That's going to slow Hoffman down. Rage thumps Hoffman with a low kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A short right from Rage on the inside. Rage throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hoffman s head. Hoffman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rage gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hoffman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rage just stands there and leans against the cage. Good body shot from Rage.

Rage dips a shoulder and cracks Hoffman with a mighty uppercut! Hoffman falls back against the cage and Rage unloads with a barrage of strikes! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Rage screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

It looks like Mario Karlo has been cut. We've been told by Burdyalov's head coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Burdyalov misses with the combination.
