Durden displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bandito throws out the jab.
Bandito looks to land a left hand but Durden moved out of range nicely.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Durden has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Durden gets caught flat footed, as Bandito shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Pick not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Pick must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Pick tries to free his leg and advance position but Brutality is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pick stays in close to Brutality's body and controls the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Steve Pick hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Brutality from any more punishment! Brutality complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
