Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joshua Perez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Price! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Price lands a jab. Price is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Perez. Price throws a jab but it's blocked by Perez. Price chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Perez can pounce on him.
Perez connects with a looping right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Price. Perez does a little dance to reset his feet. Price closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Perez did well to prevent Price getting side control. Perez trying to control from the bottom.
Perez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Price is looking for a kimura here.

Perez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Perez throws a nice outside leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Price postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Perez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Price, into his guard. Price is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. A close second round but Luke Price will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Luke Price seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Price moves out of range of the strikes. Perez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Perez lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Price fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Perez is looking to score with low kicks. Price swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lemana darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Lemana tries to land a front kick but Van De Velde steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Lemana swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lemana shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Van De Velde napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lemana prevents Van De Velde from escaping the position. Lemana is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Van De Velde knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Van De Velde is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Risley gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A short body shot lands from Risley as the two fighters clinch.
Risley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sasi tries to keep at a distance but Risley has taken the fight into the clinch. Risley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Risley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Risley looking to control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sasi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Risley works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Risley trying to keep a closed guard but Sasi is proving a slippery customer.
Sasi stands up over Risley, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Sasi tries to stand but Risley is controlling from the bottom. Risley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Sasi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Risley wriggles free and stands up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Risley is defended easily by Sasi. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sasi moves out of range of the body kick from Risley.

Sasi lands with a good body shot. Risley with a lazy takedown attempt and Sasi counters with a shoot takedown. Risley fights it but they end up in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sasi works over Risley with some ground and pound from guard. Sasi landing with the ground and pound. Sasi working some strikes from top position. Risley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Risley tries to get out of the position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sasi lands a couple of digs. Sasi makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Risley is rocked! Sasi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Risley's head. Oh Risley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Sasi arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Risley's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lodbrok fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Townsley sprawls well initially but Lodbrok persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Lodbrok passes to side control. Lodbrok working the head and body with strikes. Lodbrok has an Americana. Townsley didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Lodbrok is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lodbrok hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
