10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Philmore Butts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Punter! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butts leaves Punter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Butts lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Punter backs up against the cage.
It looks like Chris Punter has been cut. Punter fails with the takedown and Butts counters with a stiff right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Punter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Butts swats him away and circles back towards the center. Punter tries to clinch but Butts moves out of range. Chris Punter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Punter jabbing away but nothing is landing. Butts Rushes Punter and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Punter is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Butts Piles on the pressure and Punter crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Philmore Butts! Philmore Butts decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Lloyd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Marek Siuta! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lloyd throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Siuta sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lloyd takes a jab right on the kisser.
Siuta scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Lloyd misses with a body shot.
Lloyd tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Siuta was well out of range. Poor timing from Lloyd. Lloyd blocks a head kick by Siuta.
Lloyd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Siuta stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Siuta feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Lloyd trying to control the position here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lloyd working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Siuta. Lloyd is looking to stand up but Siuta isn't so interested in that idea. Siuta distracts Lloyd with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Siuta is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lloyd has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Siuta is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lloyd. Lloyd sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Siuta looks to land a strike but Lloyd avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Siuta is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Siuta throws an elbow that misses. Lloyd uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Siuta's guard. Nice move by Lloyd! Siuta looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lloyd tries to stand but Siuta is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Siuta keeping full guard, as Lloyd tries to pass. Lloyd is stalling in the full guard. Siuta pulls Lloyd in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lloyd would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lloyd misses with a body shot
and Siuta makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Siuta wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Siuta lands a nice looking body shot.

Lloyd is looking to wear down Siuta with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Siuta changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lloyd looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Siuta wants to control but Lloyd is keeping him busy. Siuta is putting a hurting on Lloyd here, landing some big shots from side control. Lloyd can't do much from the bottom here. We've been hearing good reports from Lloyd's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Siuta working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Siuta works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Lloyd managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Siuta.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lloyd sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Lloyd is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Siuta is surviving well by controlling Lloyd's body position as best he can. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Siuta wants to control but Lloyd is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Mike Lloyd will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Siuta throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lloyd works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Siuta works over Lloyd with some ground and pound from guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Siuta lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Lloyd trying to keep a closed guard but Siuta is proving a slippery customer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Siuta stands up over Lloyd, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lloyd utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Marek Siuta comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Siuta has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Banyat Pu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Lee Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Scott's choice of entrance music: Go, Go Power Rangers. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

A kick lands to the mid section there for Scott. Pu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Scott. Scott works over Pu's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Banyat Pu has been cut. Scott looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Scott bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pu's head backwards. We've been told by Pu's head coaches at Pitbull MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Scott has Pu up against the cage in a clinch.

He has Scott in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. A head punch on the inside from Scott fails to land. Scott swings wildly with an uppercut but Pu uses good head movement to avoid it. Pu stalling in the clinch but Scott improves position. Scott wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Scott lands a nice uppercut. Scott digs a right hand into Pu's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Pu's gas tank. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Scott creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Scott. Pu gets tackled into the cage by Scott. Scott maintains the clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Scott blocks the elbow strike.

Jason Lee Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pu tries to keep at a distance but Scott has taken the fight into the clinch. Scott throws a punch but it's blocked by Pu. Pu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Scott pushes Pu away with a front kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pu throws the left hand but Scott avoids the punch easily. Scott is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Scott scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Pu thuds his right hand into Scott's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Scott connects with an inside leg kick. Scott connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Scott lands with a thumping leg kick.
Scott throws a series of punches but Pu avoids them all with ease. Scott cracks the inside of Pu's front leg. Scott misses the shot to the body. Jason Lee Scott seems to be getting the better of the standup. The fight moves into the clinch position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pu using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Scott has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Pu is trying to force a seperation but Scott has the dominant position.

Scott scores with a hook to the body. A short left from Scott. Pu blocks a body shot from Scott. Scott has a couple of punches blocked by Pu.

Scott tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pu's elbow. Scott lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Scott lands a body punch in the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Scott swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Scott has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile. Pu takes a shot to the head. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Scott. Scott makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Scott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pu throws a solid leg kick but Scott takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pu. Pu throws a push kick but Scott slaps the foot to one side. Scott with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Scott closes the distance and clinches. Scott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jason Lee Scott seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Pu lands a good knee to the midsection. Scott won't want to take too many of those. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Scott tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Nice body punch from Pu - that landed with a thud.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Scott takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Scott misses with a hook from the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Pu - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Scott. Scott avoids a wild elbow strike from Pu. Pu connects with a nasty looking knee right to Scott's face.

Scott shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pu eats them both and turns towards Scott to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Scott.
Scott has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Pu takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Scott! Pu is out on his feet! Scott rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Pu is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Pu is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Fuqua has cracked Pitoy with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Fuqua lands another huge swinging hook and Pitoy tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Pitoy, before Fuqua can land any more shots!

A cross from Edilhson lands. Jaxee takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Edilhson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jaxee throws out the jab. Edilhson cracks Jaxee with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaxee keeps the fight on the outside. A lazy left from Jaxee finds it's target. Edilhson moves out of range as Jaxee strikes. Edilhson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Edilhson throws a low kick but Jaxee moves out of range easily. Edilhson drives through and clinches with Jaxee against the cage.

Jaxee checks a leg kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Edilhson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Good leg kick by Edilhson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jaxee punishes Edilhson's body with a nice straight punch. Jaxee misses with a looping left. Edilhson tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jaxee counters with a two punch combo. and Edilhson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jaxee's guard.

Edilhson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Edilhson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Edilhson slows the pace down. Edilhson landing strikes. Edmundo Edilhson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Edilhson lands a few punches from side control. Edilhson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jaxee, who protects the arm well. Edilhson advances nicely into full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jaxee bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Edilhson pushes a forearm under Jaxee's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jaxee is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
