Butts leaves Punter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Butts lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Punter backs up against the cage.
It looks like Chris Punter has been cut.

Punter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Butts swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Philmore Butts decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lloyd throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Siuta sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lloyd takes a jab right on the kisser.
Siuta scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Lloyd tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Siuta was well out of range. Poor timing from Lloyd.

Lloyd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Siuta stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Siuta feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Siuta has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
