I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Get It. Le Banner has chosen Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler as his entrance music. Tuisku shoots for a takedown but Carraretto saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Carraretto uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tuisku.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Marrone!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janda pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Marrone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Janda tries to avoid it but Marrone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Janda to the ground. Janda escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A thudding body kick lands there by Janda!
Marrone has a takedown stuffed.
Janda bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jason Marrone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Janda scoring well with a low kick there.
Janda slaps away a takedown attempt from Marrone, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Erik Janda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Marrone.
Marrone takes a kick to the side of the head.
Marrone tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Janda swivels and escapes.
Marrone takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Marrone tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Marrone looks gassed!

Marrone looks to score with a jab to the body but Janda is just out of range.

Janda gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Marrone takes an elbow to the forehead.
Janda creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Marrone's defenses.

It looks like Jason Marrone has been cut.
Come on Janda - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Janda comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Marrone is rocked!
Marrone is pressed against the cage. Janda pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Marrone! Two more big strikes from Janda and Marrone crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
