Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Magician Rapist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shoeless Mike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shoeless Mike was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Magician Rapist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mike is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mike tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mike tries for a takedown but Rapist circles away easily

and Rapist counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Rapist tries to free his leg and advance position but Mike is retaining full guard.
Mike really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rapist. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rapist slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Mike avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Rapist sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mike's guard.

Rapist is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mike defends it well.

Wyrm comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Tread by Damn Yankees. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Wyrm controls Raptor momentarily but Raptor frees himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Mutou shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Adolphson as he jumps to the side.
Adolphson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Adolphson throws a shot from downtown. Mutou moves away and avoids it.
