The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hansen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Benn connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hansen scrambles back to his feet.

Main event

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brian Viloria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derick Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Happy Day kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Steve throws a quick inside leg kick.
A punch lands to the side of Steve 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nice body kick from Steve.
Viloria throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Steve.
Steve scores with a head kick.

It looks like Brian Viloria has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Viloria thuds a left hand into Steve's body.
We've been hearing reports that Viloria has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Steve moves out of range of the strikes.
Viloria takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Steve with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Viloria to score with a decent uppercut.
Viloria scores with a sloppy right hand. Steve should have avoided that one.
Viloria looks to score with a jab to the body but Steve is just out of range.
Good leg kick by Steve there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Steve lands a head kick. Viloria smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A slapping body kick lands there for Steve.
Viloria is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Steve! Viloria is out on his feet! Steve rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Viloria is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Viloria is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
