4 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bartosz Solomon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andy Lobas! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lobas with a hook. Horrible takedown attempt by Solomon or perhaps it was just good defense by Lobas, which made it look bad. Lobas stuns Solomon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Lobas punishes Solomon's body with a nice straight punch. Solomon tries a head kick but it misses.
Solomon feints and as Lobas raises his hands in defense, Solomon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Lobas lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Lobas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lobas is stalling in the full guard. Solomon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lobas throwing strikes but missing. Lobas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lobas controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Solomon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lobas on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lobas feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Solomons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Solomon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Solomon tries to clinch but Lobas moves out of range. Lobas scores with a nice right hand.
Solomon fails with a takedown attempt. Lobas digs a good hook to Solomon's body.
Lobas ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lobas slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Solomon tries to work over Lobas's front leg with a kick but Lobas checks it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lobas bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Lobas has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Lobas lunges at Solomon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Solomon's hand. Solomon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lobas tries to avoid it but Solomon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lobas to the ground. Lobas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bartosz Solomon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Solomon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Lobas circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lobas lunges at Solomon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Solomon's hand. Andy Lobas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lobas connects with a jab. Lobas is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Solomon had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Lobas lands a nice looking body shot.
Lobas thuds his right hand into Solomon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Solomon takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Solomon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Lobas feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Solomons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Lobas tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Solomon is able to avoid easily. Lobas lands a glancing blow to the side of Solomon's head. Lobas connects with the punch. Solomon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solomon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Lobas lands an overhand right. A head kick misses from Solomon. Lobas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Solomon at a distance.
Lobas cracks Solomon with a good jab. Solomon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Good leg kick by Lobas there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lobas connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Solomon is breathing heavily. Lobas lands a nice hook to Solomon's body. Solomon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Lobas moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Lobas scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lobas, as that shot connected.
This has been an exciting period of action! Lobas scores with a hook to the body. Solomon takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Lobas bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Lobas digs a good hook to Solomon's body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Solomon takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lobas takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Andy Lobas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lobas swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Solomon.
Solomon is rocked! Lobas connects with a right hand. Solomon shakes it off. Oh Solomon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lobas cracks Solomon with an open hand slap. Lobas lands with a right that hurts Solomon. Solomon looks to clinch but Lobas throws a short knee that drops Solomon. This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brent closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ron's guard. Brent throws a big right hand that misses. Brent throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ron works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Brent trying to control but Ron is working from the bottom. Ron avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Brent trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Brent trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ron looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Brent lands a couple of elbows. Brent has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Brent passes Ron's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brent is trying to control. Ron wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Brent slows the pace down in half guard. Brent frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ron can do anything to dispel that myth. Brent raining down hammerfists from mount. Ron can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brent wants to control the action but instead Ron gets a body lock and reverses into Brent's guard! Nice work! Ron scoring with some ground and pound. Ron throws an elbow that misses. Brent uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ron's guard. Nice move by Brent! Brent trying to control but Ron is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brent pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ron is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brent is working hard here to advance position. Brent wants to control from the top but Ron keeps moving. Brent advances to half guard. Brent throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brent connects with a nice short shot to Ron's temple. Brent throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brent tries to pass to full mount but Ron defends it. Brent missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Brent sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ron defending well though. Ron is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Brent scores with a couple of nice shots. Brent throwing shots but Ron is blocking nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brent thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ron's head. Brent trying to mount his opponent but Ron defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Brent dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Brent blocks a jab. Ron connects with a jab. Brent uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ron. Brent with a nice cross. Ron is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Brent creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ron sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Ron wants to get back to his feet. Brent is trying to ground and pound but Ron uses the momentary lack of control by Brent to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Brent in particular looking to stall. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Brent's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We're going to have a standup here because David Brent wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Ron throws a hook but Brent blocks it. Ron bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brent's head. Ron misses with an uppercut. Brent saw that one coming. Ron lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Brent falls backwards - clearly groggy! Ron dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Genghis Ron! Genghis Ron decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paaine moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Paaine tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Paaine throws a head kick but Benn moves out of range.
Paaine fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Benn takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Paaine stuffs the takedown attempt from Benn. Benn gets slowly back to his feet. A bone on bone clash there as Benn blocks the leg kick.
Paaine throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Benn's waist but Benn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Paaine off to one side. Benn looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Paaine! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Benn is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Paaine's shoulder. That is not cool. Paaine is looking to reverse the position. Benn wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Paaine, who protects the arm well. This has been an exciting period of action! Paaine manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Benn seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Paaine does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Sergei Garkov has been cut. May looks for a takedown but Garkov sprawls well. May moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Garkov dives in for a single leg takedown but May sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. May lands with a short head shot on the inside. May digs a right hand underneath Garkov's ribcage. Garkov let out a lung full of air as it connected. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! May lands an uppercut. May lands an elbow just above Garkov 's eye. May gets underhooks to prevent Garkov's takedown attempt.
May manages to break the clinch.
Woody May seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. May ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Garkov moves away.

Garkov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Garkov moves out of range of the strikes. Garkov shoots in but no luck this time. May closes the distance and clinches. Garkov is trying to drag May to the mat but May just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Garkov tries to break the clinch but May is controlling the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot lands for Snabel. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A leg kick checked by Griswold. A head kick misses from Snabel. Griswold moves out of range as Snabel strikes. Griswold throws a jab but it's blocked by Snabel. Griswold takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Nice uppercut lands for Snabel. That snapped Griswold's head back.

Griswold feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Snabel sprawling to the canvas! Snabel rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Griswold finish him?!
Snabel is still on wobbly legs! Can Griswold finish him? Griswold waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Snabel. Snabel seems to have recovered his senses. Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Griswold engages and cracks Snabel with a massive lead left hook - Snabel tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Griswold is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gage lands a leg kick that knocks Siblas off balance momentarily. Gage scores with a decent looking hook. Siblas does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Gage loads up on a big right hand but Siblas slips the punch. Siblas looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Gage takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Siblas misses with a kick to the body.
Gage lands with a big left! Siblas is wobbled badly! Gage comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Siblas to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Joe Gage! Joe Gage opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
