Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Razor Speed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Anan Kofan! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kofan blocks a head kick by Speed.
Kofan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Speed to score an easy takedown into full guard. Speed is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Speed prevents Kofan from getting back to his feet. Kofan has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Speed has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Kofan goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Speed blocking some punches.
Speed missing with knees to the body.
Speed is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Kofan wants to get back to striking at distance but Speed won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Speed has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kofan uses from the top position. Speed is breathing heavily. Speed is trying to keep Kofan in close.
Kofan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Speed, up you get! Anan Kofan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Excellent takedown into side control there by Speed. Speed slows the pace down. Speed trying to control the action but Kofan is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Speed is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kofan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Speed looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Kofan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Speed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Speed creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Kofan pushes Speed away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Speed gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Speed is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Speed is looking to take a break and control but Kofan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kofan is pushing Speed's head away, looking to escape. Speed manages to hold on to the position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Speed wants to control but Kofan is keeping him busy. Kofan tries to escape but Speed is in control. A lull in the action here. Kofan stops Speed from passing to mount. Kofan being controlled for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Razor Speed just wasn't active enough. Some bone on bone action there as Kofan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kofan avoids the head kick by Speed.
A combination from Kofan does no damage. Speed feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Speed won't allow Kofan to get back to his feet. Speed controls from within his opponent's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Speed wanted to stand there but Kofan had control of the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Razor Speed dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kofan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Speed misses with a body kick. Kofan darts in and clinches Speed up against the cage. Speed keeps control of Kofan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Speed is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kofan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Speed blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Kofan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Speed is defending well for now. Speed prevents Kofan from breaking the clinch. Speed is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kofan to keep the fight standing. Speed working aggressively here.
We've been informed that Kofan has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Speed lands a hook to the side of the head. Speed has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kofan after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Razor Speed. That's going to take a lot out of him. Speed is stalling here.
Kofan lands a left hand that snaps the head of Speed backwards. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Speed takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Speed jumps guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kofan is fighting to break Speed's control of his arms but Speed is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Kofan is looking to stand up but Speed won't let him. Speed looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kofan wants to stand but Speed is controlling his posture from full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Speed has taken the fight to the clinch.
A short left from Kofan. Speed has a couple of punches blocked by Kofan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Speed blocks a body shot from Kofan. Speed changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kofan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Speed throws a sloppy head kick and Kofan counters with a right hand to the body. Kofan lands with a thumping leg kick.

Kofan looks to land a combination. Speed sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Kofan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Speed misses with a right hand and Kofan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Speed showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kofan.
Kofan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kofan throws a combination. Speed tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Speed throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kofan digs a good hook to Speed's body.
Good shot there by Kofan. Kofan ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kofan moves into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kofan lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Speed trying to land knees to the body.
Kofan pushes Speed back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kofan avoiding damage as Speed throws knees to the body.

Anan Kofan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Speed looks for a takedown but Kofan sprawls well. Kofan does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Speed scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Speed stops Kofan from getting back to his feet.
Speed throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Speed prevents Kofan from standing back up.

Speed performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Kofan tries to kick Speed off but Speed keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Speed takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Razor Speed wasn't doing enough on the ground. Kofan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A head kick misses from Speed. Kofan dips to his left and cracks Speed with an uppercut! Speed tries to clinch but Kofan moves out of range. Kofan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Speed back to the cage. Kofan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Nice sprawl there from Kofan as Speed shoots in. Kofan moves away from the strike by Speed. Kofan ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kofan lands with an uppercut that bounces Speed off the cage and back into range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Speed wants to clinch. Speed clinches with his opponent.

Kofan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Speed is trying to pull guard but Kofan has him pressed against the cage. Speed changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kofan fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Speed is trying to stand up here but Kofan is controlling him well. Kofan tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Speed is concentrating on defense, preventing Kofan from advancing position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kofan wants to stand but Speed has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Razor Speed overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Speed makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Speed.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Razor Speed. I think Speed has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robertson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Filipovic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Robertson tries to clinch up but Filipovic circles away and keeps his distance. Filipovic fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Robertson sprawls well initially but Filipovic persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Robertson controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Robertson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Robertson works his way to full guard. Good work. Filipovic missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Robertson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Robertson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Robertson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Robertson looking for subs off his back but Filipovic has passed one foot through into half guard.

Robertson lands a leg kick that knocks Filipovic off balance momentarily. Filipovic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Robertson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Filipovic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Robertson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Robertson bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Filipovic misses with a few strikes there.

Robertson rushes Filipovic and presses him up against the cage. Robertson is working for takedown but Filipovic is calmly controlling the position for now. Filipovic manages to break the clinch.

Robertson gets full guard. Filipovic is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Robertson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Filipovic is looking to defend but Robertson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Filipovic! Robertson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Filipovic taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Augustus will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Crazy misses with a hook. Augustus ducked under it nicely. Crazy misses with a looping left. Crazy throws a head kick but Augustus moves out of range.
Augustus shoots in for a double leg but Crazy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Augustus takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Crazy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Augustus is one step ahead there. Augustus lands a couple of decent looking shots. Augustus landing some decent shots from guard. Crazy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Crazy chips away with some ground and pound. Crazy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Crazy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Augustus is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armis uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Armis misses with a wild body shot. Armis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Ely! Ely tries to bench press Armis off him but Armis keeps the position. Armis works to advance to full mount. Ely defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Ely tries to reverse the position but Armis maintains control. Ely throwing hammer fists to the chest of Armis. What's that going to do exactly? Ely is working to get back to half guard.
