With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Igor Lewandowski!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edgar drives through and clinches with Lewandowski against the cage.
Lewandowski looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Edgar misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lewandowski.

Edgar ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Edgar no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Lewandowski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Edgar lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Edgar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

We're going to have a standup here because Bj Edgar wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Edgar forces Lewandowski back against the cage and clinches.

Edgar pulls Lewandowski in to control the position.
Lewandowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Edgar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Edgar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Edgar fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Edgar lands a couple of good shots and Lewandowski has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Edgar has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Lewandowski's body.

Edgar has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Lewandowski! Can he survive? No! He's out! Edgar gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ben throws a sloppy head kick and Britian moves out of range easily.
Britian misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ben scores with a head kick.
Britian listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Britian scores with a push kick.
Ben looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Britian scores with a nice head shot.
Ben misses with a head kick.
Britian lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Britian throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Britian goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Britian fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ben sprawls well initially but Britian persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Britian tries to pass to full mount but Ben defends it.
Ben holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Ben manages to get to full guard.
Ben keeping moving, preventing Britian from controlling successfully.

Britian wants to stand but Ben is controlling his posture from full guard.
Ben wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Ben is looking to stand up but Britian isn't so interested in that idea.

Britian looking to sit in guard and control but Ben gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ben working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Ben prevents Britian from getting back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ben tries to score with a low kick but Britian moves his leg out of the way.

Ben thuds his shin into the meat of Britian's side.
Britian fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Britian moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ben takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ben tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Ben clinches.
Ben softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Ben is trying to pull guard but Britian turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Britian lands an elbow inside that Ben shrugs off.

Britian breaks the clinch.
Ben throws a combination. Britian tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
mr Ben seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ben tries a head kick but it misses.
Britian pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ben back to the cage. Britian follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Ben is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Britian tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ben swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Britian is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Britian fails with the takedown.
Ben misses with a two punch combination.

Ben scores with a punch to the head.
Ben on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Britian misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Britian is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ben's half guard.
Britian wants to stand but Ben has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Britian looks to land a strike but Ben avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ben seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Britian wants to stand and escape but instead Ben has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ben has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Britian.

Britian can't break the clinch.

Ben is looking to break free of the clinch but Britian has double underhooks.
Britian lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Ben escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ben dives in for a single leg takedown but Britian sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Britian tries a head kick but it misses.
Left hook, right uppercut from Britian.
Britian is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Britian throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Ben is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Britian connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Ben to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Britian!

After the fight, Conner Britian was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babinski blocks a jab.
McCracken shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Babinski counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
McCracken doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Babinski counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

McCracken pushes a forearm under Babinski's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Babinski is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
