The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saadi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Medeiros .

Nice combo by Medeiros ! Oh, that's hurt him - Saadi falls to the canvas and Medeiros follows him into side control.

It looks like Bruno Saadi has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Medeiros in side control, throwing shots but Saadi defends.
Medeiros postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Medeiros throws an elbow but Saadi slips to the side and avoids it well.
Medeiros creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Saadi sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Saadi wants to control but Medeiros postures up.
The crowd goes nuts as Medeiros knocks Saadi out cold with a massive hammerfist! Medeiros Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

In his post fight interview, Rodrigo Medeiros started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Lawler tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Strife manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

It looks like Tyson Rizzo has been cut.

Rizzo cracks Aldo with an open hand slap.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rizzo lands with a hook. Aldo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Rizzo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Aldo walks into a stiff left hand from Rizzo.
Rizzo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Aldo is rocked!
Aldo leaves his chin hanging out and Rizzo seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Aldo crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Neal throws a one two combo.
Mandoza dives in and grabs Neal's left leg, looking for a takedown. Neal pushes down on Mandoza's head and hops out.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mandoza.
Mandoza shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Neal as he avoids it easily.
Ethan Neal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Malcom Mandoza.
A left and a right from Neal both land. Nice combination.
Mandoza goes for a double leg but Neal avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Neal continues to drive forward.

Mandoza is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mandoza swats away the attempt to clinch by Neal.
Neal feints a jab promting Mandoza to slip. Neal then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mandoza slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mandoza with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Neal to score with a decent uppercut.
