The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Smith. Smith throws a jab but it's blocked by Acton. Smith throws a jab but it's blocked by Acton. Smith avoids the body shot from Acton.

Acton blocks a jab. A jab from Acton misses. Acton throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily. Joseph Acton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big right from Smith misses. Smith looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Acton wants to clinch. Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

4 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Robin Nash! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Nash. Pozar shoots in but Nash avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nash throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pozar counters with a two punch combo. We've been hearing reports that Pozar has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Pozar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nash lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nash stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nash wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pozar Pozar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nash throws a jab but it's blocked by Pozar. Pozar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nash as he avoids it easily. Pozar dives in for a single leg takedown but Nash sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Pozar has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Nash regains guard immediately. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Pozar connects with a couple of short punches. Nash is trying to keep Pozar in close.
Pozar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Pozar throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pozar is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Nash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pozar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pozar stands up over Nash, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Nash is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pozar is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nash is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nash has escaped and now he's on top! Nash got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pozar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nash has managed to get both his arms back between Pozar's legs - danger averted. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pozar holds on and takes a little breather.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pozar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nash defends well. This has been an exciting period of action! Pozar is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pozar looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Nash has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Soul Supremacy - UK. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Pozar throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Pozar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nash doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nash manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. That's four minutes gone in the round. Pozar working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Nash's head. Pozar pushes down on Nash's leg and manages to get into half guard. It looks like Marc Lewis Dillinger has been cut. McCurnin tries to clinch but Dillinger moves out of range. Dillinger pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McCurnin can't do much from the bottom here. Dillinger lands an elbow. Dillinger is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McCurnin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. McCurnin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dillinger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dillinger connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused McCurnin some visible discomfort.

Carrington working some nice short punches in the clinch. Carrington digs a right hand underneath Filgueiras's ribcage. Filgueiras let out a lung full of air as it connected. Filgueiras jumps guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Filgueiras wants to sweep here but Carrington controlling him for the moment. Carrington will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Carrington throws a strike but Filgueiras rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Filgueiras stays in close to Carrington's body and controls the position. Carrington really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Filgueiras stands up over Carrington, holding his feet. We've been hearing good reports from Carrington's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Filgueiras doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Filgueiras has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Carrington is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Filgueiras. Carrington creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Filgueiras sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Carrington sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Filgueiras is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Filgueiras gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Filgueiras wants to get back to his feet. Carrington trying to pass the guard but Filgueiras defending well. Carrington controlling the action here. Filgueiras is trying to maintain the position but Carrington is very close to passing his half guard.

Carrington seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Filgueiras does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Carrington is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Carrington feints a jab promting Filgueiras to slip. Carrington then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Filgueiras slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Carrington throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Filgueiras. Filgueiras tries to clinch up. Carrington tries to clinch there but Filgueiras circles away.

Carrington connects with a good right hand that stumbles Filgueiras. Filgueiras circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Carrington buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Filgueiras shoots in but no luck this time. Paul Carrington is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Filgueiras shoots in looking for a takedown. Carrington tries to sprawl out of it but Filgueiras keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carrington manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Paul Carrington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luana Peroba Filgueiras. Carrington scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Carrington fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Filgueiras looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Filgueiras on the wrong end of a nice hook. The fight moves into the clinch position. Filgueiras is trying to force a seperation but Carrington has the dominant position. Filgueiras is trying to maintain a safe position but Carrington gets an underhook and turns Filgueiras into the cage. Filgueiras jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carrington walks away with a smile on his face. Filgueiras gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carrington throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rolando Dimagiba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hans Tuckich! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dimagiba shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tuckich as he jumps to the side. Tuckich has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dimagiba is landing a low percentage of strikes. Dimagiba looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Tuckich's corner calls for a 1-2. Tuckich obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Tuckich keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tuckich fails to land with a series of punches.
Tuckich scores with a jab. Dimagiba acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Tuckich throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dimagiba was covering up waiting for the punch and Tuckich finishes the takedown easily into guard. Tuckich is in close to Dimagiba's body, working some short punches and elbows. Tuckich not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Dimagiba trying to keep a closed guard but Tuckich is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tuckich won't allow Dimagiba to sweep him here. Tuckich controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Rolando Dimagiba wasn't doing enough on the ground. Tuckich closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tuckich lands in his opponent's guard. Tuckich scoring with punches to the head and body. Tuckich postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Dimagiba is rocked! Tuckich is working Dimagiba over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Oh Dimagiba is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Tuckich sitting in guard here, content to control. Dimagiba really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tuckich lands a couple of decent looking shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tuckich working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dimagiba's head. Tuckich sitting in guard, not really doing much. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Let's hope that Tuckich has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Tuckich landing with the ground and pound. Tuckich throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Tuckich pushes down on Dimagiba's leg and manages to get into half guard. Tuckich is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Tuckich lands a nice short elbow. Tuckich has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tuckich content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Tuckich is nestled in close to Dimagiba, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suliaw throws a hook but Taisumov blocks it. Suliaw feints and then cracks Taisumov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Taisumov down. Suliaw doesn't manage to clinch there - Taisumov circles away.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Both fighters circling a little - Suliaw finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Suliaw lands with a kick to the ribs.

Taisumov steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Suliaw. That one must have hurt. Suliaw throws a sloppy head kick and Taisumov moves out of range easily. Suliaw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Taisumov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Suliaw - the referee stops the clock and Taisumov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Suliaw. Taisumov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Krystyn Suliaw seems to be getting the better of the standup. Taisumov walks into a left hand. Suliaw throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Taisumov's head. An inside leg kick lands from Suliaw. Suliaw closes the distance but Taisumov moves to the side and Taisumov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Taisumov throws a right hand that Suliaw ducks under and follows up with a left that Suliaw also avoids with ease. Some wild striking there from Taisumov.

On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Good standup being displayed there by Suliaw as he connects with a hook. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Suliaw throws a front kick that sends Taisumov stumbling back into the cage. Suliaw throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Taisumov. Aslan Taisumov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Suliaw cracks Taisumov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Krystyn Suliaw comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Suliaw has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
