The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Bathmanaban. No joy for Raty on that attempt.

Raty shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bathmanaban napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bathmanaban is trying to get back to his feet.
Bathmanaban knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Raty on the ground.
Raty remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Ortega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dillon Pittsenbarger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ortega might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Say Yes. Nelson Ortega had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be a great matchup!

Molina is in close to Pyle's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Molina throws a strike but Pyle rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Molina wants to hit a switch here but Pyle passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Molina there!
Molina tries to lock up and control but Pyle gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Molina is desperately trying to improve his position but Pyle has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Molina wants to hold on but Pyle pushes him away.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Molina, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
