The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruedy is looking to chop away at Pu's legs.
Ruedy goes for a double leg but Pu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pu continues to drive forward.
Ruedy takes an elbow to the temple.
Pu tries to land a knee to the head but Ruedy blocks with his arms.

Pu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Ruedy has closed the distance and engaged Pu in a clinch.

Ruedy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ruedy shoots in for a double leg but Pu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ruedy throws a body punch but Pu moves out of range.
Ruedy blocks a head kick by Pu.
Pu misses with a head kick.
Pu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pu moves in looking to clinch but Ruedy pushes him off.
Ruedy dives in and grabs Pu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pu pushes down on Ruedy's head and hops out.
Banyat Pu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hans Ruedy.
