The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardcastle throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pep.
Hardcastle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pep misses with a takedown attempt - Hardcastle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice sprawl there from Pep as Hardcastle shoots in.
Hardcastle throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pep.
Pep wants to clinch up but Hardcastle keeps it at a distance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerra shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cormier as he jumps to the side.

and Gerra counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cormier won't be happy with that.

Gerra is nestled in close to Cormier, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
