Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
38 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Waru Kuzuri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Samurai Jack! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jack lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kuzuri's sensitive parts. Kuzuri seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Kuzuri throws a body punch but Jack moves out of range. Jack moves out of range as Kuzuri throws a body kick.
Kuzuri backing away here, and Jack unleashes a leg kick that just misses. A combination from Jack does no damage. A shot to the body from Jack misses and Kuzuri counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Kuzuri tests Jack's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jack dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kuzuri looks for the body kick but Jack saw that one coming. Kuzuri dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jack digs a good hook to Kuzuri's body.
Jack slips under a jab from Kuzuri. Jack takes one on the button. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kuzuri chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jack can pounce on him.
Jack swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kuzuri counters with a thumping low kick. A bone on bone clash there as Kuzuri blocks the leg kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Kuzuri misses its target. Kuzuri looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Kuzuri misses with an uppercut. A jab from Jack misses. A chopping leg kick lands by Kuzuri. We've been informed that Jack has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. The crowd cheers as Kuzuri lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jack doesn't seem phased though. Jack cracks Kuzuri with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Nice uppercut there from Kuzuri. Kuzuri misses the shot to the body. Kuzuri misses with a low kick.
Jack lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kuzuri stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jack. Kuzuri blocks a head kick by Jack.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kuzuri with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kuzuri misses with a leg kick. Jack lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Kuzuri has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jack. Kuzuri fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jack is out of range. Kuzuri throws a low kick, looking for Jack's leg but Jack calmly moves out of range. Kuzuri cracks a nice hook into Jack's ribs. Jack defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kuzuri. Jack ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kuzuri takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Jack avoids the body shot from Kuzuri.

and Kuzuri takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jack dodges the punch combination from Kuzuri.
Samurai Jack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jack walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kuzuri checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Kuzuri moves out of range of the body kick. Kuzuri connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

A telegraphed right hand from Kuzuri misses the target. Jack throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jack misses with a leg kick and Kuzuri counters with an inside leg kick. Jack throws a lazy head kick and Kuzuri finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Kuzuri takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Kuzuri throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kuzuri pushes Jack back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Kuzuri blocks a body shot from Jack. Kuzuri breaks from the clinch.
Jack feints and then cracks Kuzuri's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kuzuri down. Good standup being displayed there by Jack as he connects with a hook. Jack throws a solid leg kick but Kuzuri takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jack. Nice straight punches there by Kuzuri. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kuzuri. Kuzuri uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jack has time to react.
It looks like Samurai Jack has been cut. Kuzuri throws an overhand right that lands on Jack's shoulder, as Jack tries to avoid the shot. Jack tries to counter with a clinch but Kuzuri shakes him off and moves away. Jack lands with a good body shot. Kuzuri swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jack connects with a single shot there. The fighters circling - Kuzuri throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kuzuri misses the shot to the body. Jack swings for the body but Kuzuri moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jack moves away from the strike by Kuzuri. Jack has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Jack blocks a jab. Jack on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jack dips to his left and cracks Kuzuri with an uppercut! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Waru Kuzuri will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Samurai Jack's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

A left lands for Jack. That kick from Jack tenderised Kuzuri's leg. Kuzuri is trying to keep his angry face on. Jack throws a low kick, looking for Kuzuri's leg but Kuzuri calmly moves out of range. Jack fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jack throws a leg kick and Kuzuri counters with a lovely shot to the body. Jack motions for Kuzuri to come forward. Jack throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Jack throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jack plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Kuzuri scores with a jab. Jack acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Jack throws out a leg kick but Kuzuri moves out of range and Jack only half commits. A shot to the body from Kuzuri misses and Jack counters by clinching up. Jack digs a right hand into Kuzuri's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kuzuri's gas tank. Jack taking a breather. Kuzuri on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Jack keeps control of Kuzuri as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Nice body punch from Jack - that landed with a thud.

Kuzuri lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jack tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kuzuri's elbow. A right hook to the body lands for Kuzuri.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kuzuri. Kuzuri lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jack or not. Jack can't find room to land a body shot as Kuzuri controls the action.

Jack tries to throw a body punch but Kuzuri avoids it by throwing Jack back against the cage. Jack has Kuzuri pushed against the cage. Kuzuri avoiding damage as Jack throws knees to the body.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Kuzuri. Kuzuri scores with a nice hook to the head. Kuzuri throws a punch but it's blocked by Jack. Kuzuri pulls guard. Kuzuri working for submissions but it's allowed Jack to get to half guard.
Kuzuri is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Jack jumps into side control! Jack tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Kuzuri stops Jack from passing to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuzuri struggling a bit here. Jack tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Jack content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Jack wants to stand but Kuzuri has his arm trapped. Kuzuri manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jack's best efforts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Waru Kuzuri will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Samurai Jack's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Jack looks to land a right hand but Kuzuri moved out of range. Jack thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kuzuri if he has to take too many more of those.
Jack connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Jack scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kuzuri in his tracks. Kuzuri lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jack circles away quickly and effectively. Kuzuri looks to score with a jab to the body but Jack is just out of range. Jack lands a leg kick that knocks Kuzuri off balance momentarily. Kuzuri throws a right hand that misses
enabling Jack to counter with a crisp jab. Jack thuds his right hand into Kuzuri's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Jack looks to land a left hand but Kuzuri moved out of range nicely. Kuzuri throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kuzuri with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kuzuri lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kuzuri is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Jack lands an overhand right. Kuzuri takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Jack throws a sloppy head kick and Kuzuri moves out of range easily. Jack throws a head kick that misses. Kuzuri connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kuzuri feints and then cracks Jack's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jack down. Kuzuri clobbers Jack with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Jack throws a nice outside leg kick. Jack takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kuzuri lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kuzuri wants to slow Jack down by chopping away at his legs. A looping hook to the body misses from Kuzuri. Jack does a little dance to reset his feet. A clash of legs there as Kuzuri blocks the low kick. A quick step to the side and Kuzuri tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Jack lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Samurai Jack has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kuzuri connects with a jab. Jack attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Kuzuri lands with a nice combination. Jack backs away looking to recover.
Jack is rocked! Kuzuri with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jack to score with a decent uppercut. Jack is still on wobbly legs! Can Kuzuri finish him? Kuzuri fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Kuzuri circles away from the clinch attempt and Kuzuri counters with a straight right hand. Kuzuri dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Jack has had enough and taps out.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loompa throws out a loose jab but Torres uses good head movement to avoid it. Loompa is looking to score with low kicks. Torres loads up on a big right hand but Loompa slips the punch. Loompa walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Torres checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Loompa throws a lazy right hand but Torres sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Loompa connects with a solid leg kick. Loompa ducks under a wild hook from Torres. Torres throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Loompa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nice jab there from Loompa. A jab from Torres misses. Loompa slips a jab from Torres. Torres explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Loompa throws a front kick aimed at Torres's knee but Torres avoids it well. Loompa pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hearts blocks a jab. Hearts pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Hearts takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hearts swings for the body but Seia moves out of range.
