12 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sammy Spishak! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Spishak as he avoids it easily. A big left from Spishak misses. Smith tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. No joy there for Spishak, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Spishak rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Spishak throws a poor cross that misses
and Smith counters with a nice low kick that buckles Spishak's knee momentarily. Spishak swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smith is looking to clinch but Spishak is avoiding it.

Spishak has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Spishak is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Smith is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Smith is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Spishak wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Smith, who protects the arm well. Sammy Spishak has got the better of the ground game so far. Spishak goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Smith rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Spishak's guard! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Spishak gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Spishak throws a series of punches but Smith avoids them all with ease. Spishak swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Smith looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Smith bucks up and tries to throw Spishak off but instead Spishak has got his back! Smith is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. That's three minutes gone in the round. Spishak is cranking Smith's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Smith! He's tightened the choke and Smith is tapping out!

Drogo is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Drogo is trying to improve his position. Drogo sneaks back into half guard. Drogo wants to get back to full guard. Ground and pound from Sabre. Drogo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Drogo is pressing down on Sabre's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Sabre working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Sabre trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sabre scoring with some ground and pound. Sabre postures up and lands a big shot to Drogo's brow. Drogo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sabre lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Drogo being controlled here, momentarily. Drogo is trying to control the position but Sabre postures up. Sabre scoring with punches to the head and body. Drogo has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Sabre has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Sabre manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Sabre is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Drogo jumps into side control! Sabre manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Sabre keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sabre is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Horrible takedown attempt by Chambers or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones, which made it look bad. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Chambers walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jones. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chambers avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones throws a quick inside leg kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gukepshev tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Klumpo was well out of range. Poor timing from Gukepshev. Gukepshev walks into a jab. Klumpo cracks Gukepshev with a big right hand and Gukepshev goes down!
It looks like Grigory Gukepshev has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gukepshev has Klumpo pulled in close to control his posture. Klumpo throwing strikes but missing. Gukepshev has momentary wrist control but Klumpo slips an elbow through the middle. Klumpo with a flurry of punches that miss. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gukepshev holds on and takes a little breather. Gukepshev lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Klumpo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gukepshev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gukepshev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Klumpo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gukepshev gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Klumpo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Klumpo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gukepshev is aware though and is defending well. Gukepshev stopping the sweep attempt from Klumpo. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gukepshev throwing strikes but missing. Gukepshev avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Klumpo keeping moving, preventing Gukepshev from controlling successfully. Gukepshev controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Klumpo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gukepshev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gukepshev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gukepshev wants to pass the guard but Klumpo is keeping the position. Gukepshev got a little sloppy there for a moment and Klumpo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gukepshev has managed to get both his arms back between Klumpo's legs - danger averted. Gukepshev wants to control from the top but Klumpo keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gukepshev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Klumpo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Klumpo keeping moving, preventing Gukepshev from controlling successfully. Gukepshev pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Klumpo is keeping the position for now. Klumpo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Klumpo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Gukepshev frees his head nicely. Oh but Klumpo has switched to an armbar! Gukepshev is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

The One Armed Man's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Abe blocks a body shot from The One Armed Man. Abe lands a right hand that snaps the head of The One Armed Man backwards. The One Armed Man tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Abe smiles and moves away.

The One Armed Man jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Abe walks away with a smile on his face. The One Armed Man gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The One Armed Man fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Abe, pushing him back against the cage. Abe dodges an elbow strike from The One Armed Man.

The One Armed Man moves in looking to clinch but Abe pushes him off. Abe closes the distance but The One Armed Man moves to the side and The One Armed Man counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Good leg kick by The One Armed Man there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Abe tries to clinch up. The One Armed Man turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Abe tries to clinch up but The One Armed Man circles away and keeps his distance. Abe throws a wild body kick that The One Armed Man sees coming a mile off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The One Armed Man scores with a leg kick.

Abe's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Abe wants to clinch and The One Armed Man counters with an outside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. The One Armed Man misses with a low kick. Abe lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as The One Armed Man crumples to the floor! Abe milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 4, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Earnest Abe! A relieved looking Earnest Abe thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
