Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Rabago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tre Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rabago comes to the cage accompanied by Dance Gavin Dance - Strawberry Swisher Pt 2. Tre Spar will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Rabago! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tre Spar! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spar throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Spar tries to clinch up. Spar closes the distance and pushes Rabago back into the cage. Rabago working hard to break the clinch. Spar works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Rabago is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Main Event Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Spar is fighting to break Rabago's control of his arms but Rabago is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Spar wants to stand and escape but instead Rabago has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Rabago drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Spar manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rabago has Spar in his guard. Spar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rabago manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rabago is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Spar has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Rabago is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Spar to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Spar shrugs it off. Rabago swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Spar is now in Rabago's guard. A big mistake from Rabago there, giving up the dominant position! Spar prevents Rabago from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spar trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rabago's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Spar gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Spar moves to clinch but Rabago breaks away and Rabago counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rabago.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rabago drops back looking for a leg! Spar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Spar manages to kick Rabago off! Rabago jumps back into Spar's guard. Rabago stands up and waves to Spar to follow him. Spar fails with an attempt to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rabago. Rabago shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Spar napping and manages to drive through into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Spar wants to get back to his feet but Rabago drags him back down. Rabago is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Spar knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Adam Rabago will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rabago fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Spar to the ground. Rabago is now in Spar's guard. Rabago drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Spar manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rabago has Spar in his guard. Spar wants to stand but Rabago is controlling his posture from full guard. Spar is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Spar stands up from guard. Let's bang! Jab by Spar. Spar swings away with a body shot that misses
and Rabago counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Spar! Rabago tries for a kimura but Spar is defending well. Spar is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Rabago working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spar tries to escape but Rabago is in control. Rabago looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Rabago goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Spar rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Rabago's guard! Nice work there by Spar! Spar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rabago wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The fighters are working up against the cage. Rabago manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Spar has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rabago regains guard immediately. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Adam Rabago will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Spar throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rabago tries to score a power double leg takedown but Spar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rabago somewhat. Spar tries to clinch but fails miserably and Rabago counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rabago. Rabago stands up from guard. Let's bang! Spar is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tre Spar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spar scores with a body shot.

Rabago dives in and scores a takedown into Spar's guard. Rabago thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rabago slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Rabago swings around for an armbar but Spar sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Rabago's guard. Spar wants to stand and escape but instead Rabago has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Rabago drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Spar dives on top into guard. Rabago is working an open guard so Spar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spar closes the distance and clinches. Spar pulls guard successfully.
Rabago postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Spar is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rabago, into his guard. Tre Spar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Spar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spar wants to stand and escape but instead Rabago has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Rabago gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A jab from Spar does it's job there.
It looks like Adam Rabago has been cut. Spar throws a sloppy head kick and Rabago moves out of range easily. Spar looks to clinch and Rabago counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Rabago is working for a kimura but Spar is defending it quite comfortably.
This has been an exciting period of action! Rabago is looking for a kimura but Spar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rabago to get the leverage. Rabago stands up and beckons Spar to join him on the feet. Spar jabs Rabago to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spar is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Spar has taken the fight to the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Spar. Spar gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Spar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Adam Rabago overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rabago pushes Spar off and scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Spar throws the left hand but Rabago avoids the punch easily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Tre Spar. I think Rabago has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Stern looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Loshkarev is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stern knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Stern is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Loshkarev off and has taken his back! Stern looking to break Loshkarev's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Loshkarev remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Stern will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Stern is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Stern has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Loshkarev can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stern is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Stern keeping full guard, as Loshkarev tries to pass. Loshkarev is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Stern has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Loshkarev is looking to defend but Stern has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Loshkarev! Stern pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Loshkarev taps out and this one is all over!

It connects and Hart has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Oakheart connects with a leg kick. Hart looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacques Don Pierre! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Don Pierre bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Don Pierre misses with a wild body shot. Raimundo Sobral seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Don Pierre with a nice cross. Sobral misses with a series of wild punches.
Sobral throws a low kick but it's checked well by Don Pierre. Don Pierre throws a half hearted mid kick. Sobral lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Don Pierre at a distance.
Sobral is looking to land body kicks. Don Pierre on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Don Pierre shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sobral as he avoids it easily. Don Pierre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nice defenses there by Sobral. A head kick misses from Sobral. Don Pierre throws out a loose jab but Sobral uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sobral keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Don Pierre. Don Pierre has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sobral finds it's way round the side to connect with Don Pierre's head. Don Pierre waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sobral. A combination from Sobral does no damage. Sobral clobbers Don Pierre with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Sobral misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sobral motions for Don Pierre to come forward. Sobral throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sobral gets caught napping as Don Pierre dives in and scores a takedown. Sobral manages to retain guard. Sobral working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Don Pierre. Don Pierre postures up in Sobral's guard and throws a big left but Sobral blocks it. Sobral looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Don Pierre has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sobral had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Don Pierre defends it easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sobral is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Don Pierre showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Sobral is trying to control the position but Don Pierre postures up. Don Pierre is looking to work some ground and pound but Sobral has wrist control. Sobral throws his legs up looking for a submission but Don Pierre uses it to pass to side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sobral regains half guard. Don Pierre is trying to control the action in half guard but Sobral is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sobral tries to roll over but Don Pierre keeps him under control. Sobral is not content to let Don Pierre control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sobral tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Don Pierre has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Don Pierre punishing his opponent with strikes. Sobral taking shots to the head. A nice elbow there by Don Pierre. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Don Pierre lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Don Pierre goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sobral turns into him and now he's in Don Pierre's guard.
Don Pierre had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sobral defends it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacques Don Pierre dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Ventura counters with a lovely shot to the body. Ventura avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Venger throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ventura bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Venger's head backwards. Ventura swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Venger takes a swing at Ventura's ribcage but misses. Venger throws a hook to the side of Ventura's head but Ventura sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Venger looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Venger uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ventura. Venger throws a poor cross that misses
and Ventura counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Left hook, right uppercut from Venger.
It looks like Anthony Ventura has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ventura swinging wildly here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Venger pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ventura clobbers Venger with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Venger works Ventura's body with a nice hook. The fighters circle momentarily. Venger darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Ventura loses concentration momentarily and Venger pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Ventura crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Venger finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
