That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Taisto Rahapussi.

Horrible takedown attempt by Fenix or perhaps it was just good defense by Mir, which made it look bad.
We've been hearing reports that Fenix has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fenix manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mir on his heels. He'll look to pass Mir's guard now, I'm sure.

Mir working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fenix doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fenix manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fenix throws an elbow that misses. Mir uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fenix's guard. Nice move by Mir!
