The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zanetti throws a half hearted mid kick. Zanetti misses with the combination.
Zanetti takes a swing at Pablos's ribcage but misses. Pablos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zanetti pinned against the cage. Zanetti gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Excellent takedown into side control there by Pablos. Pablos tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Pablos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zanetti , who protects the arm well. Zanetti tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pablos is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Zanetti has escaped the position, nice work there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pablos swings around for an armbar but Zanetti sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Pablos's guard. Pablos is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zanetti is aware though and is defending well. Pablos has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Zanetti should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Pablos has tightened it up now! Zanetti should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Jones thows a huge punch but Naga-Wing dodges it nicely.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durden tries to clinch up and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown. Durden fights it but they end up in guard. Durden trying to keep a closed guard but Gracie is proving a slippery customer.
Durden is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gracie dives into side control.
Durden definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Durden is looking to reverse the position. Durden seems a little lost for a moment, as Gracie dominates the positioning. Let's hope that Gracie has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Durden rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gracie's guard! Nice work there by Durden! Durden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gracie is pulling down on Durden's head to control his posture. Durden is posturing up here but Gracie has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Durden tries to roll out but it's too tight and Durden has to tap! Slick submission there by Gracie!

Washington gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mayhem drops down looking for an ankle pick but Washington pulls his leg out and moves away.
Washington is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mayhem avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Washington closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mayhem is trying to pull guard but Washington has him pressed against the cage. Washington lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Mayhem missing with knees to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Saccarosio. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Graves tries to get back to half guard but can't. Graves sneaks back into half guard. Graves has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Saccarosio. Oh but Graves has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Saccarosio goes limp - he's gone! Graves jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Higgins has picked Diaz up - he's going for a ride! Higgins dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Higgins tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Higgins stands up out of the half guard. Diaz throws a low kick, looking for Higgins's leg but Higgins calmly moves out of range. Diaz blocks a head kick by Higgins.

Diaz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gomes closes the distance and clinches. Gomes breaks from the clinch.
Inman dives in and scores a takedown into Gomes's guard. Gomes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Inman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gomes throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Gomes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Gomes is looking for a kimura but Inman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gomes to get the leverage. Gomes throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Inman keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Gomes throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Inman to regain full guard. Inman is trying to control the position but Gomes postures up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Hude Gomes hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Inman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gomes. Hude Gomes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gomes stalks Inman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Inman's face. Inman staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Carlos Inman has been cut. Gomes sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Inman keeps the fight on the outside. Gomes darts in looking for a takedown but Inman gets double underhooks and turns Gomes into the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Inman gets underhooks to prevent Gomes's takedown attempt.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gomes connects with a high kick. Gomes fakes the leg kick and cracks Inman in the body. Gomes throws a right and a left that Inman avoids nicely. Gomes has a takedown stuffed. Gomes drives through and clinches with Inman against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kumushi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Showtime was covering up waiting for the punch and Kumushi finishes the takedown easily into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kumushi throws a big elbow that misses. Kumushi is working Showtime over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Showtime throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
