The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waldbauer tries to bum rush Baptiste Reno with a series of wild strikes but Baptiste Reno uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Waldbauer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Baptiste Reno but Baptiste Reno pushes him off and we're back to square one. Baptiste Reno swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Reed. No joy for Crane on that attempt. Reed throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Crane stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Crane misses with a takedown attempt - Reed sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Reed just misses with a punch to the body.
Reed throws a body punch but Crane moves out of range. Reed throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Crane on the side of the head. Reed throws a right hand that misses
and Crane counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Reed wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crane throwing strikes from guard but Reed blocks nicely. Reed wants to sweep but no luck. Crane sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reed's guard. Crane is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Reed looks like he's trying to stand up.
Reed tries to roll over but Crane keeps him under control. Reed is refusing to be controlled, as Crane sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed blocking the ground and pound attempt from Crane. Reed taking some punishment here, with Crane in his half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Crane connects with a nice short shot to Reed's temple. Reed wants to get back to his feet. Reed strikes from the bottom but Crane passes into mount!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Crane lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crane lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Reed is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Crane is controlling him. We've been hearing good reports from Crane's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Crane postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Crane drops back looking for a leg! Reed is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reed manages to kick Crane off! Crane jumps back into Reed's guard. Reed tries to land a sweep but no joy. Crane trying to control the position from guard on top but Reed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reed looking to hit a scissor sweep but Crane is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Crane postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Crane won't allow Reed to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crane passes easily into side control. Nice work. Crane has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Crane lands a big left to the face of Reed, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Crane and another - Reed is out! Crane stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huey throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Soni to counter with a crisp jab. Huey keeps the fight on the outside. Huey punishes Soni's body with a nice straight punch. Huey fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

It looks like Tanishk Soni has been cut. Huey catches Soni with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Huey defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Soni. Huey lands an overhand right. Soni is trying hard to land a takedown here. Huey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Huey throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Huey lands a big right hand that sends Soni crashing to the mat! Huey stays standing though and waves Soni back to his feet! Huey feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Soni sprawling to the canvas! Soni rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Huey finish him?!

Soni motions for Huey to come forward. Soni throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Oooooh!!! Huey has knocked Soni down with a huge combo! Huey steps away and waves a wobbly Soni back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Huey throws a body punch but Soni moves out of range. Soni seems to have recovered his senses. Huey lands a big uppercut and Soni crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Soni looks OK. Huey waves Soni back to his feet! Huey jabs at Soni's body. Soni looks winded! Huey steps in with a hook that catches Soni right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Huey follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Soni looks absolutely devastated.
