The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang throws a series of punches but Calvacante avoids them all with ease.
Wang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wang wants it to stay on the feet.
Calvacante checks the leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wang looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Calvacante changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wang tries to avoid it but Calvacante manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wang to the ground. Wang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Wang is trying to control Calvacante's posture but Calvacante avoids it.

Wang pushes Calvacante away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Calvacante gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Wang is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Calvacante has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Calvacante has hold of Wang's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Wang seems comfortable defending it but Calvacante has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Wang is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Wang is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Calvacante couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ralfson Calvacante spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

That was a close round but I would say that Amun Ra will probably get the nod.

Ra tries to get to his feet but Starner is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Ra is in need of a savior and steps in!
