The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanford throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stabler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sanford tries to avoid it but Stabler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sanford to the ground. Sanford escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stabler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Horrible takedown attempt by Stabler or perhaps it was just good defense by Sanford, which made it look bad.
Sanford attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A slapping body kick lands there for Sanford.
