The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reginald.
Silva throws a head kick that misses.

and Silva finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Silva definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Psycho Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kanegi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Greene comes into the arena with The Marietta Mangler blaring out of the sound system. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Valo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Valo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Greene.
A looping hook to the body misses from Greene. Valo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Greene throws a poor cross that misses

and Valo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
