6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aluicious James! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cookie slaps away a takedown attempt from James, before circling back to the center of the mat. Cookie throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. James should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Cookie clobbers James with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Aluicious James has been cut. Cookie throws a hook but James avoids it easily. James tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cookie swats him away and circles back towards the center. James shoots in for a double leg but Cookie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cookie misses with a two punch combination.
James shoots in for a takedown but Cookie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fortune Cookie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aluicious James. Cookie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cookie missing with a left hand there. James was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Cookie throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cookie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cookie tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cookie to the ground. Cookie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Cookie lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. James fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cookie connects with a single shot there. Fortune Cookie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A big left from Cookie misses. Cookie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
James shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cookie pinned against the cage. Cookie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Cookie throws a hook but James blocks it. James will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. James fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. James steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cookie. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cookie throws a hook but James avoids it easily. Cookie throws a jab when James was well out of range. Cookie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cookie wants it to stay on the feet. Cookie missing with a left hand there. James was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Cookie lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. James looks gassed! Cookie throws a body punch but James moves out of range. James fails with a takedown attempt from distance. James slips a straight right by Cookie. James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cookie tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cookie to the ground. Cookie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Cookie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from James. Cookie lunges at James with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by James's hand.
That has opened up Aluicious James's cut even more. James takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. James shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cookie as he jumps to the side. Cookie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
James steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cookie. James loses concentration momentarily and Cookie pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! James crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Cookie finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Read shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Read stalling. Read trying to mount his opponent but Mashinata defends it. Mashinata slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Read must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Read showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rizzo throws a shot from downtown. Dollar moves away and avoids it. George Rizzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rizzo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dollar momentarily.
Rizzo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dollar circles away quickly and effectively. Rizzo lands an overhand right. Dollar darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Dollar wants to take a breather but Rizzo is having none of it. Dollar is figuring out what he wants to do next. Dollar works his foot free and advances to mount. Rizzo in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Dollar in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rizzo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dollar. michal takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
michal has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Shamwow finds it's way round the side to connect with michal's head. michal tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Shamwow stuns michal with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Shamwow slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. michal throws a sloppy head kick and Shamwow moves out of range easily. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ishii instigates a clinch. Ishii lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Silva is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ishii gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Ishii breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Silva tries to keep at a distance but Ishii has taken the fight into the clinch. Ishii breaks the clinch.
Silva fails to land the takedown. Ishii closes the distance and clinches. Silva jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ishii walks away with a smile on his face. Silva gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ishii feints a jab and as Silva dips his head, Ishii unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Silva right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Silva falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Ishii smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Marx shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Neo but Neo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Marx connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Neo tries to clinch but Marx moves out of range. Marx lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Neo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marx paws at him with a jab and circles away. Marx scores with a hook to the body. Neo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Neo is breathing heavily. Marx fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Neo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Neo lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Marx scores with the left hand. Neo knows he should have avoided that one. Marx sends Neo crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Marx is motioning to the referee to let Neo up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Neo is rocked! Marx shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Marx slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Marx lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Benson. Silva throws a series of punches but Benson avoids them all with ease. A looping hook to the body misses from Silva. Benson does a little dance to reset his feet. Benson throws the kick towards the body but Silva avoids it. Benson misses with an uppercut. Silva darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Benson is trying to stand up here but Silva is controlling him well. Silva wants to work for an arm triangle but Benson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. That's three minutes gone in the round. Benson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Benson looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well. Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Benson tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Benson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Benson looks to land a left hand but Silva moved out of range nicely. Benson swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Silva with a poor takedown and Benson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Silva takes a shot right to the bread basket. Excellent takedown into side control there by Silva. Silva creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Benson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Benson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Benson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Silva's guard! Nice work there by Benson! Ben Benson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Silva has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Benson has passed into side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Benson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ricardo Silva. I think Silva has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
