The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahara slips a jab and a cross from Toushiro.
Takahara uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Toushiro.
Toushiro misses with a takedown attempt - Takahara sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Takahara stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Takahara wants it to stay on the feet.
Takahara leaves Toushiro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Knock Out showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hoffman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hoffman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Out's guard.

Out has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hoffman is working away from the top position though.
Hoffman wants to advance to full mount but Out doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
