The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Thicke finds it's way through Black's defenses.
Black looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Black bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Thicke's head backwards.

Black shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Thicke is trying to defend but Black finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Thicke might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Thicke gets full guard.
Thicke manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Black manages to get himself to full guard.


Thicke drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Thicke as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Black screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Thicke! Nice submission victory there!

A very excited looking Brad Thicke rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Alamo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Alamo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sanchez gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Sanchez is trying to get back to full guard.

Alamo trying to control but Sanchez is working from the bottom.
Alamo looking to sit in guard and control but Sanchez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alamo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sanchez stacks Alamo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sanchez!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sanchez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sanchez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Alamo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sanchez defends it well.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rory Kincade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kincade kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Good Rats. Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Amazing by Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Silva gets caught flat footed, as Kincade shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kincade working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Silva's head.

Kincade postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Silva is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kincade, into his guard.

Pablo Silva decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Perez tries to work over Li's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
