Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Lemana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Sasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Joe Lemana has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Joe Lemana seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Lemana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Junior Sasi! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lemana shoots for a takedown but Sasi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Lemana bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Sasi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Lemana parries the strikes from Sasi easily there. Sasi is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lemana to escape.
Lemana is trying to improve his position. Lemana can't do much from the bottom here. Lemana is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Lemana manages to regain full guard. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lemana is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sasi rolls with it to try and escape but Lemana cranks on the arm and Sasi is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Townsley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Townsley looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Townsley tests Levi's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fighters circle momentarily. Levi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Levi has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Levi throws a right and a left that Townsley avoids nicely. Townsley is looking to clinch. Townsley fails to land the takedown. Levi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Townsley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Levi pinned against the cage. Levi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Townsley avoids a punch combination nicely.

Levi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Townsley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Townsley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Levi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Levi throws a big right hand that misses. Townsley looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Levi scoring with punches to the head and body. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Levi throwing strikes but missing. Levi is in close to Townsley's body, working some short punches and elbows. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Townsley takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Levi misses the jab. Townsley is looking to clinch but Levi is avoiding it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Townsley tries to clinch but Levi is having none of it. Levi fails with a takedown attempt. Levi blocks a head kick by Townsley.
Townsley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Levi as he avoids it easily. Agam Levi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Townsley. Levi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Levi lands a couple of elbows. Levi working some strikes from top position. Townsley has momentary wrist control but Levi slips an elbow through the middle. Levi distracts Townsley with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Levi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Levi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Townsley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Levi content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Townsley has control of Levi's left arm, preventing Levi from doing any damage. Townsley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Levi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Levi chips away with some ground and pound. Levi distracts Townsley with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Levi lands a couple of digs. Levi throws a big elbow that misses. Levi cracks Townsley with a solid left hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Agam Levi dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Levi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Agam Levi is winning the standup battle so far. Levi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Townsley as he avoids it easily. Townsley clinches with his opponent.

Levi lands some shots froms side control. Levi scoring with punches and elbows. Levi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Levi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Levi working the head and body with strikes. Townsley taking punishment in the form of punches.

Levi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Townsley to see if he's OK. Levi grinds an elbow into Townsley's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Levi cracks Townsley with a big right hand but Townsley just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Levi is working to tighten his grip on Townsley's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Townsley has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Levi is really squeezing tight and eventually Townsley passes out! Levi breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jackson gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Harris lands with a hook. Jackson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Harris looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Harris lands with a straight right. Jackson didn't see that one coming. Harris cracks a nice hook into Jackson's ribs. Jackson misses with a body kick. Harris changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Harris lands a slapping body shot.
Jackson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Jackson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Brian Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Steven Jackson has been cut. A right-left combo lands from Harris. Harris scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice shot by Harris. Harris scores with a jab. Harris works Jackson's body with a nice hook. Good exchange - Harris coming out on top. Harris throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Harris scores with a shot to the body.
Harris throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jackson on the side of the head.
That has opened up Steven Jackson's cut even more. Harris throws a one two combo.
This has been an exciting period of action! Jackson walks into a stiff left hand from Harris. Harris throws a good cross that connects.
Harris lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Jackson sprawling to the canvas. Harris follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Jackson hang on?
Jackson is rocked! Harris drops an elbow to the side of Jackson's head. Jackson is still in real trouble! Can Harris finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Harris. Jackson seems to have recovered his senses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harris wants to stand up but Jackson is controlling the position.
Harris tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jackson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Harris not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Harris tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Jackson. Jackson works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson seems keen to control Harris's posture. Harris trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Harris in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Harris trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jackson's guard. Harris makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Harris stands up over Jackson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Harris trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jackson's guard. Harris has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jackson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Brian Harris dominated that round. The cut man is working on Steven Jackson's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Jackson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Harris connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jackson scrambles back to his feet. Harris scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Jackson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Harris finds it's way round the side to connect with Jackson's head.
Steven Jackson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Harris works Jackson's body with a nice hook. Harris lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Harris is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jackson can do to turn this around? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A lazy left from Harris finds it's target.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Steven Jackson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Brian Harris! Brian Harris retains his heavyweight title!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tutuola stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tutuola wants it to stay on the feet. Gibbs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tutuola moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gibbs shoots in for a takedown but Tutuola shows good takedown defense. Gibbs misses with an attempted mid kick.

Gibbs changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tutuola tries to avoid it but Gibbs manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tutuola to the ground. Tutuola escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Tutuola as Gibbs shoots in. Tutuola throws a right hand that Gibbs ducks under and follows up with a left that Gibbs also avoids with ease. Tutuola throws a lazy right hand but Gibbs sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. No luck for Gibbs with that takedown attempt. Gibbs throws a sloppy head kick and Tutuola moves out of range easily.

Gibbs is trying to drag Tutuola to the mat but Tutuola just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Tutuola makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Gibbs breaks from the clinch.

Gibbs gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Gibbs tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tutuola just stands there and leans against the cage. Tutuola can't break the clinch.
Gibbs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lj Gibbs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gibbs moves out of range of the leg kick from Tutuola. Gibbs lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Tutuola drives through with a takedown into Gibbs's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Tutuola wants to get up but he can't break Gibbs's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Tutuola wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Gibbs's closed guard. He's half up but Gibbs has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Gibbs pivots and extends the arm, Tutuola falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Gibbs! Well done that man!

Bulldog tries for a takedown but Becks sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Burbank Bulldog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bulldog looks to land a combination. Becks sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Bulldog moves in looking to clinch but Becks pushes him off. Becks lands a front kick. Becks thuds his right hand into Bulldog's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bulldog looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nice shot lands for Becks. Becks blocks a jab. Bulldog blocks the body kick.

Becks tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Becks tries to bum rush Bulldog with a series of wild strikes but Bulldog uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bulldog wants to clinch up but Becks keeps it at a distance. Becks misses with a kick to the body.
Bulldog misses with the body kick and Becks counters with a head kick. That will keep Bulldog thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Bulldog closes this distance looking for a takedown but Becks circles away. Bj Becks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Burbank Bulldog. Becks tries to land a front kick but Bulldog steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Becks lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Bulldog wants to clinch but Becks slips to the side and Becks counters with a body kick that stops Bulldog in his tracks momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Becks thuds his shin into the meat of Bulldog's side. Becks fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bulldog looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Bulldog looks winded! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A solid body kick from Becks. Becks pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bulldog throws a lazy head kick and Becks counters with an inside leg kick. Becks takes a swing at Bulldog's ribcage but misses. Becks fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bulldog has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Becks. Becks wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Becks walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bulldog checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Becks shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bulldog eats them both and turns towards Becks to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bulldog drops his hands momentarily and Becks takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Bulldog throws a body punch but Becks moves out of range. Bulldog scores with a leg kick.

Becks follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Bulldog hang on? Bulldog is still in real trouble! Can Becks finish him? Becks landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
