The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pond connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Potapoff momentarily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Potapoff.
Potapoff slips under a jab from Pond.
Potapoff throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Potapoff walks into a stiff left hand from Pond.
Tanner Pond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Potapoff swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Potapoff's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pond connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Potapoff scrambles back to his feet.

Oooooh!!! Pond has knocked Potapoff down with a huge combo! Pond steps away and waves a wobbly Potapoff back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Potapoff is rocked!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Stumpp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasaki Kojiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stumpp might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Macabre - Werewolf Of Bedburg. Kojiro is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Assassin in the Shadows. Sasaki Kojiro will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Kojiro tries to keep at a distance but Stumpp has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kojiro pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Stumpp tries desperately to hold on but Kojiro is relentless in his assault! As Stumpp receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Kojiro away and this one is in the books!

After winning the bout, Sasaki Kojiro thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
