The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snuka misses with a body shot.
Snuka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

XyD shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Snuka sprawls well. Snuka wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. XyD gets slowly back to his feet.
XyD closes this distance looking for a takedown but Snuka circles away.

Snuka is pulling down on XyD's head. It's preventing any offense from XyD, at least for the moment.

That was a close round but I would say that ZyD XyD will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Almaev on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Almaev feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
