The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Mahuika finds it's target.
Smudge seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Mahuika misses with a looping right.
Smudge throws a shot from downtown. Mahuika moves away and avoids it.
A swing and a miss from Mahuika.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mahuika. Smudge does a little dance to reset his feet.
Donk. Mahuika catches Smudge right on the button with a cross.
Smudge slips a straight right by Mahuika.
Mahuika moves forwards but Smudge connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Smudge looks to land a left hand but Mahuika moved out of range nicely.
Smudge connects with a body shot that sends Mahuika's belly button to the back.
Mahuika ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mahuika connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mahuika bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Smudge ducks right into an uppercut from Mahuika.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smudge misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mahuika.
Mahuika bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smudge's head backwards.

Mahuika swings for the body but Smudge moves out of range.
Mahuika throws a big shot that misses.
Mahuika throws a hook to the side of Smudge's head but Smudge sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Smudge counters with a single leg into guard. Mahuika didn't expect that.

Mahuika working for a triangle but Smudge defends it easily.
Smudge seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Smudge pushes down on Mahuika's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Smudge will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Smudge wants to pass to mount but Mahuika is defending the position.

Mahuika really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smudge. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Smudge prevents Mahuika from improving his position.
Smudge passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mahuika!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luff drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gogol parries the strikes from Luff easily there. Luff is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gogol to escape.
Luff in side control, throwing shots but Gogol defends.
Gogol tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Luff wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Luff grinds an elbow into Gogol's temple.
Luff knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gogol on the ground.
Luff cracks Gogol with a big elbow.
Gogol avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Luff.
Luff working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Luff in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Luff grinds an elbow into Gogol's temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gogol tries to buck Luff off but Luff is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gogol is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Luff works his way into full mount!
Gogol is trying to escape the mount.
Luff is landing with some decent strikes but Gogol is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Luff with a couple of short strikes.
Gogol is desperately trying to improve his position but Luff has a good base and remains in mount.

Gogol is rocked!
Luff lands a nice shot to the head.
Gogol is still in real trouble! Can Luff finish him?
Oooooh, big shot lands for Luff! Gogol is hurt baaadly! Luff is firing away with more strikes - Gogol is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Addison comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Survivor - Eye of the Tiger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Addison shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Baillie defends it nicely.
Baillie fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Addison has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Baillie.
Addison looks to land a left hand but Baillie moved out of range nicely.
Addison throws the left hand but Baillie avoids the punch easily.

Baillie lands a big head kick that sends Addison tumbling to the mat! Baillie takes a step backwards and waves Addison back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Logan Addison has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Addison misses with a straight left.
Baillie scores with a push kick.
Addison swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Addison takes a kick to the side of the head.
The fighters circle, before Baillie throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Addison's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Baillie lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Scott Baillie!
