Gonzales feints a jab promting Pondingham to slip. Gonzales then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pondingham slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Douglas Pondingham has been cut.
Gonzales has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Pondingham cracks Gonzales with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pondingham has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gonzales to stand back up!

Pondingham shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Gonzales takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Pondingham sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Gonzales bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Materson shoots in looking for a takedown. Victorious tries to sprawl out of it but Materson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Victorious manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Victorious will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Victorious has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Materson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Victorious has tightened it up now! Materson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Korrales has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Adam is looking to clinch.
Korrales is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Adam.

Oooooh!!! Korrales has knocked Adam down with a huge combo! Korrales steps away and waves a wobbly Adam back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Adam gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Korrales points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Adam wakes up just in time to hear Korrales thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

We've been hearing good reports from Thor's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Well Theron has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
