Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Duff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikel Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duff kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ride of the valkyries. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duff pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mcgee wants to clinch up but Duff keeps it at a distance.
Duff stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Duff wants it to stay on the feet.
Mcgee moves out of range as Duff throws a body kick.
Duff misses with a few strikes there.
Mcgee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Duff shoots in but Mcgee avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Duff closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Duff lands in his opponent's guard.
Duff has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Mcgee wants to get back to his feet but Duff is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Duff is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mcgee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mcgee has escaped and now he's on top!

Duff has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Takaraivo lands a big head kick that sends Failing tumbling to the mat! Takaraivo takes a step backwards and waves Failing back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Takaraivo and Failing are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Takaraivo throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Failing into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Takaraivo knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Clausen cracks Inn with an open hand slap.
Inn takes one to the side of the head.
Clausen cracks Inn with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Inn lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Clausen has left one of his arms exposed and Inn doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Clausen screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rauli Raunio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erki Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raunio comes to the cage accompanied by The Drugs Don't Work. Turk comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fischerspooner - Never Win (Benny Benassi remix) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Turk is trying to drag Raunio to the mat but Raunio just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Turk has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

I was talking to Raunio's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Raunio tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Turk's elbow.
