 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kasprzyk lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kasprzyk scores with a jab. Kowalski acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
 It looks like Jedrzej Kowalski has been cut. Kowalski lands the left hand. Kasprzyk doesn't manage to clinch there - Kowalski circles away.
Kowalski fails with a takedown attempt. Kasprzyk stuffs the takedown. Kasprzyk scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kowalski doesn't seem bothered though. Nice sprawl there from Kasprzyk as Kowalski shoots in. Sebastian Kasprzyk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jedrzej Kowalski.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fei misses with a series of wild punches.
Bashman throws a head kick that Fei semi-blocks.
 It looks like Zhang Fei has been cut. Fei takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Bashman misses with a low kick. Bashman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bashman throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Bashman tries a head kick but it misses.
Bashman tries to clinch up. Fei avoids the head kick by Bashman.
Bashman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bashman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bashman bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Bashman throws a head kick but Fei moves out of range.
Bashman takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hulk Bashman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A slapping body kick lands there for Bashman. Bashman throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Fei stumbling backwards into the cage! Fei bounces back off the cage towards Bashman, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Bashman lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Bashman celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sun Tzu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Byrne has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Byrne and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Byrne fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sun Tzu to the ground. Byrne is now in Sun Tzu's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Byrne looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Byrne seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sun Tzu for as long as he can get away with.
Sun Tzu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Byrne gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Byrne would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sun Tzu keeping moving, preventing Byrne from controlling successfully. Byrne has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Byrne looking to pass the guard. Byrne controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Byrne throwing strikes but missing.

Byrne frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Byrne trying to control but he's not successful this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sun Tzu is desperately trying to improve his position but Byrne has a good base and remains in mount.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Byrne looking to control but Sun Tzu is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sun Tzu is wriggling around trying to escape.

Sun Tzu defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Byrne. Byrne manages to capitalize on a mistake by Sun Tzu to take his back! Sun Tzu tries to roll but Byrne sticks to his back.
Byrne is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Sun Tzu has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Sun Tzu can't escape the position.

Byrne is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Sun Tzu is defending well though. Byrne let's go of the attempt for now. Byrne doesn't have the hooks in and Sun Tzu manages to turn into his guard.

 That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Byrne accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sun Tzu looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Byrne puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Sun Tzu is looking to improve his position.
Sun Tzu tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Byrne has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Sun Tzu bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Sun Tzu trying to control but Byrne is working from the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Byrne is pulling down on Sun Tzu's head. It's preventing any offense from Sun Tzu, at least for the moment. Byrne manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sun Tzu manages to get himself to full guard.
 Byrne is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sun Tzu can do to turn this around?
Sun Tzu has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Byrne is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sun Tzu.
Byrne looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sun Tzu takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Byrne wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sun Tzu keeps working. Byrne sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Sun Tzu is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Byrne tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Sun Tzu tries to improve position but can't. Sun Tzu is still trying to improve position. Byrne cracks Sun Tzu with a big right hand but Sun Tzu just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Sun Tzu is trying to improve his position. Byrne remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Sun Tzu's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Sun Tzu is keeping the position for now. Byrne wants to control from the top but Sun Tzu keeps moving. Byrne content to stall in guard here.
Sun Tzu is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Byrne rolls with it to try and escape but Sun Tzu cranks on the arm and Byrne is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bruce Sun Tzu! In his post fight interview, Bruce Sun Tzu started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Tisoaka keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brown's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Halo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Li-Taylor. That did some damage! Halo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Li-Taylor throws a front kick that sends Halo stumbling back into the cage. Halo looks to score with a jab to the body but Li-Taylor is just out of range. Halo throws an overhand right that lands on Li-Taylor's shoulder, as Li-Taylor tries to avoid the shot. Halo throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Nice uppercut there from Halo. Halo clobbers Li-Taylor with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Li-Taylor throws a body shot but no joy. Li-Taylor lands a body shot.
Halo tests Li-Taylor's chin there with a solid looking shot. Halo lands a leg kick that knocks Li-Taylor off balance momentarily. Li-Taylor cracks Halo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Li-Taylor. Halo shrugs it off though.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Li-Taylor. Li-Taylor looks to land a left hand but Halo moved out of range nicely. Li-Taylor throws a wild body kick that Halo sees coming a mile off. Halo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Halo misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Li-Taylor holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Li-Taylor scores with a shoulder strike. The referee calls for Li-Taylor to work.
A frustrated look appears on Halo's face as he tries to break the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Halo. Li-Taylor misses with an elbow over the top. Halo throws a punch but it's blocked by Li-Taylor. Halo scores with a nice hook to the head. Halo misses with a hook from the clinch.

Halo lands with a short head shot on the inside. A battle for position here, against the cage. Halo can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Villamora fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Halo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Carrera Villamora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Halo slips a straight right by Villamora. Halo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
 It looks like Carrera Villamora has been cut. Halo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ninjin no Tamanegi in the buildup to the fight. Villamora throws a hook but Halo avoids it easily. Halo lands with a cross. Halo moves to clinch but Villamora breaks away and Halo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Villamora lands a head kick. Halo smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Halo connects with a body shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Halo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Villamora under the eye. Villamora displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Halo throws out the jab. Halo is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Halo throws a hook to the side of Villamora's head but Villamora sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Villamora throws a hook but Halo avoids it easily. Villamora throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Villamora! Halo is out on his feet! Villamora rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Halo is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Halo is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. We've been informed that Joe has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Orange Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Atlantis moves away from the strike by Joe. Joe loads up on a big right hand but Atlantis slips the punch. Atlantis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A clash of legs there as Atlantis blocks the low kick. Joe attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Joe pivots, looking for a leg kick but Atlantis is out of range and Joe settles back down. Atlantis avoids a low kick by using good footwork. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe looks for a takedown but Atlantis sprawls well. Joe throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Atlantis works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Joe with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Joe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Joe passes easily into side control. Nice work. Atlantis takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Joe has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Atlantis tries to improve position but can't. Atlantis sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Joe stalling away here and it's allowed Atlantis to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Joe postures up.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Joe has momentary wrist control but Atlantis slips an elbow through the middle. Atlantis postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Joe has his hands on Atlantis's head, controlling the position. Joe looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Atlantis puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Orange Joe is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Joe is looking to improve his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Atlantis working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Atlantis throwing shots but Joe is blocking nicely.
