The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danko misses with a lunging right hand
and Macak counters with a good low kick that Danko was not able to check.
Danko connects with the punch.
Macak on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Danko connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Danko closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Danko misses with a few strikes there.
Macak tries to close the distance and clinch but Danko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Macak misses with a head kick.
Danko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Danko throws out a leg kick but Macak moves out of range and Danko only half commits.
Macak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Danko is fending him off so far but Macak persists. Nope, Danko circles away and we're back to standing.
Macak changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Danko tries to avoid it but Macak manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Danko to the ground. Danko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Peters is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGregor wants to get back to full guard.
Peters working over McGregor with some ground and pound. McGregor looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
McGregor wants to control but Peters is keeping busy and won't allow it.
McGregor tries to roll over but Peters keeps him under control.

Peters is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! McGregor is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
