The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gora tries for a takedown but Vandalay sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Vandalay scores with a one two! Gora had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Elbrys Gora has been cut. We've been hearing reports that Gora has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Gora drives through with a takedown into guard. Vandalay is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gora accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Art Vandalay is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Art Vandalay is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pitsenbarger throws a body shot but no joy. Morgan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pitsenbarger's waist but Pitsenbarger gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Morgan off to one side. Morgan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Morgan. Pitsenbarger scoring well with a low kick there.

Morgan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pitsenbarger defends well and Morgan ends up having to push Pitsenbarger into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Pitsenbarger breaks from the clinch.

Pitsenbarger takes a step backwards and waves Morgan back to his feet - he wants the finish!
