Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bongo Drum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Thomas Lee! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Drum does no damage. Lee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Drum gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Lee missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Lee prevents Drum from standing back up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lee connects with a nice short shot to Drum's temple. Drum blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lee. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee scoring with strikes to the body and head. Lee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Drum is trying to maintain the position but Lee is very close to passing his half guard. Lee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drum tries to get to full guard but Lee has control of the leg. Lee passes to full mount! Lee looking to ground and pound but Drum is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drum is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lee has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Drum's face.
Lee won't let Drum get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Lee. Lee pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Lee is in the full mount, landing strikes. Drum blocking the ground and pound. Drum's coaches at Soul Supremacy - UK have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Lee misses with a head shot. Lee throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Drum blocking the ground and pound. Drum wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Lee.
Drum is bucking up trying to escape but Lee cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee punishing his opponent with strikes. Lee working the ground and pound effectively.
Lee lands a couple of good shots and Drum has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Drum is rocked! Lee is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Lee gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Lee gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Lee apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lee moves into the clinch. Lee prevents Drum from breaking the clinch. Drum slows down the pace here.

Bongo Drum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Lee. Drum can't break the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snike throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Snike gets a takedown into half guard. Snike thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Myo's head. Myo works his way to full guard. Good work. Myo is looking for a triangle but Snike pushes his legs off easily.
Snike preventing the sweep. Myo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Snike's guard. Snike is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adam throws a series of punches but Dog avoids them all with ease. Dog bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Adam tries to clinch there but Dog circles away.
Dog scores with a jab. Dog uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Adam has time to react.
It looks like Pater Adam has been cut. Dog lands a nice hook to Adam's body. Adam takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Adam is breathing heavily. Dog digs a good hook to Adam's body.

Adam looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Dog throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Adam stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Adam takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Dog lands a jab to Adam's midsection. Dog is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Adam rather than just go for the knockout. Dog feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Adam sprawling to the canvas! Adam rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dog finish him?!
Oh Adam is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dog lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Davies prevents Theron from improving his position. Davies trying to control the action but Theron is working from the bottom. Theron is trying to maintain the position but Davies is very close to passing his half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davies is working for a submission of some sort.

He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Theron! Davies takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Davies is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at The Seven Sins Grappling Academy that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Davies is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Theron off and has taken his back! Davies doesn't have the hooks in and Theron manages to turn into his guard.

and Romus counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Drake thinking. Drake tries to clinch there but Romus circles away.
Drake gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Romus. Drake waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Romus. Fury Drake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Romus on the wrong end of a nice jab. Good work by Romus as he checks the leg kick. Romus throws a good cross that connects.
Romus lands a nice shot that snaps Drake's head back.

Junsuke has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fox wants to clinch up but Junsuke keeps it at a distance. A nice combination there by Junsuke.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hempsall tries to keep at a distance but Victorious has taken the fight into the clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Victorious .
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hempsall. Victorious is looking to take this one to the mat. Victorious wants the takedown. Hempsall is fighting it off but Victorious persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hempsall's guard against the cage. Hempsall working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Victorious has passed into half guard!
Hempsall is looking for a sweep. Victorious is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Victorious is looking to take a break and control but Hempsall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Victorious working Hempsall over with strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Victorious is looking for a kimura here.

Victorious seems to be working for a kimura but Hempsall defends the submission attempt. Victorious looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hempsall is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Victorious pulls his head out easily. Hempsall is trying to stand up here but Victorious is controlling him well. Hempsall keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hempsall pushes Victorious off and gets back to his feet. Victorious clinches up with Hempsall and pushes him back against the cage. Hempsall looking to stall.
Hempsall is trying to break free. Victorious breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Victorious misses with a low kick. No joy there for Hempsall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Victorious throws a series of punches but Hempsall moves out of range. Jake Hempsall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Victorious throws a nice looking combination but Hempsall bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hempsall paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Victorious uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hempsall.

Victorious closes the distance and clinches up with Hempsall, looking for a takedown. Victorious pushes Hempsall against the cage but Hempsall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Victorious tries to clinch but Hempsall is having none of it. Hempsall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Victorious . Jake Hempsall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Victorious drives through and clinches with Hempsall against the cage.
Victorious jumps guard and drags Hempsall to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Hempsall wants to get up but he can't break Victorious 's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Victorious has control of Hempsall's left arm, preventing Hempsall from doing any damage. Victorious throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hempsall works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Victor Victorious is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Victorious showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Victorious is continuing to stall.

Victorious stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hempsall swivels though and keeps the full guard. Victorious trying to control the position from guard on top but Hempsall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nice jab there from Hempsall. Hempsall throws a hook but Victorious avoids it easily. A head kick misses from Victorious . The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hempsall throws a jab but it's blocked by Victorious . Jake Hempsall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hempsall throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Victorious throws a right hand that Hempsall ducks under and follows up with a left that Hempsall also avoids with ease. Hempsall throws a hook but Victorious blocks it.
And that's the end of the fight! Victor Victorious comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Victorious winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Eldars throws an overhand right that lands on Legorious's shoulder, as Legorious tries to avoid the shot. Eldars jabbing away but nothing is landing. Eldars throws a lazy uppercut
so Legorious counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Legorious got a little sloppy there for a moment and Eldars has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Legorious has managed to get both his arms back between Eldars's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eldars pulls Legorious in close to prevent any damage. Legorious chips away with some ground and pound. Legorious works a leg free and moves into half guard. Eldars really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Legorious. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Legorious is looking to advance position but Eldars won't allow it. Legorious missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Legorious trying to pass the guard but Eldars defending well. Legorious looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Still in half guard, Legorious seems content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frankie Eldars dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dany Legorious's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Eldars throws a right and a left that both miss. Legorious bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Legorious has hold of Eldars's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Eldars tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Legorious cranks the arm and Eldars screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Eldars, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Dany Legorious! In his post fight interview, Dany Legorious started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Beef takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Beef lands a big shot. Beef clobbers Matthews with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. The fighters circling - Beef throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Beef shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Matthews manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Beef tries to free his leg and advance position but Matthews is retaining full guard.

Beef forces his way into half guard. Beef controlling the pace. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Beef tries to pass to full mount but Matthews defends it.

Beef feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Beef sitting in guard here, content to control. And that's the end of the fight! Kobe Beef comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Beef has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
