The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Rodic. No joy for Sampson on that attempt.

Sampson is backing up but Rodic catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Sampson covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Rodic Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adalsteinn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nicola was well out of range. Poor timing from Adalsteinn.
Nicola looks to score with a jab to the body but Adalsteinn is just out of range.

Adalsteinn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nicola throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nicola cracks Adalsteinn with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Adalsteinn looks to score with a jab to the body but Nicola is just out of range.
Nicola tries a head kick but it misses.
Adalsteinn steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Nicola. That one must have hurt.

Adalsteinn tries to bum rush Nicola with a series of wild strikes but Nicola uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Adalsteinn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nicola lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Adalsteinn at a distance.
Nicola looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Nicola backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Adalsteinn's temple! It sends Adalsteinn violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Nicola celebrates and the doctors try to help Adalsteinn!
