The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith rushes Ruell and presses him up against the cage.

Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Smith avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smith looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ruell scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Smith takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Smith misses with an uppercut. Ruell saw that one coming.
Smith throws a right and a left that Ruell avoids nicely.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ruell swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Oooooh!!! Ruell has knocked Smith down with a huge combo! Ruell steps away and waves a wobbly Smith back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Smith is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ruell moves in close and cracks Smith with a massive right hand! Smith, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Ruell!

Vito connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gracie. Gracie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Vito shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vito's waist but Vito gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
