Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Slade Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Maure! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maure displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Wilson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Maure throws a lazy right hand but Wilson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Maure fails to land with a series of punches.
Maure throws the left hand but Wilson avoids the punch easily. Wilson throws a hook but Maure avoids it easily. Wilson dives in and scores a takedown into Maure's guard. Maure is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Maure keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully. Wilson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wilson swings around for an armbar but Maure sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Wilson's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wilson has his foot on Maure's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Maure works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maure doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Maure manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Maure trying to control but Wilson is working from the bottom. Wilson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wilson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. I've been told that Maure has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game. Wilson looking for a guillotine here but Maure defends easily.
Maure wants to get up but he can't break Wilson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Maure avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wilson is on top in guard.
Maure wants to get back to his feet but Wilson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Wilson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Maure is keeping the position for now. Wilson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Maure is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wilson, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maure wanted to stand there but Wilson had control of the position. Wilson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Maure has his hands clasped together but Wilson extends and breaks Maure's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Wilson.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Hall! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGirt tries to clinch up. Hall fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McGirt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. McGirt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hall. McGirt is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. McGirt throws a series of punches but Hall moves out of range. We've been told by McGirt's head coaches at Pitbull MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. A jab from McGirt finds it's way through Hall's defenses. Hall looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. McGirt cracks Hall with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. McGirt lands with a thumping leg kick.
McGirt throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A decent looking cross lands there for McGirt. McGirt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hall. McGirt shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McGirt darts in and clinches Hall up against the cage. Hall prevents a body shot from McGirt. Hall has a couple of punches blocked by McGirt.
McGirt misses with the head strike.
McGirt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McGirt tries to clinch up but Hall circles away and keeps his distance. McGirt scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hall in his tracks. Hall throws a right hand that misses
and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hall is rocked! A nice inside leg kick there by McGirt. That's going to slow Hall down. McGirt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall misses with a hook. McGirt shoots in and drives through. Hall sprawls well. McGirt takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hall darts in trying to clinch and McGirt counters with a series of strikes. Hall will be more careful next time no doubt. Hall is still on wobbly legs! Can McGirt finish him? Hall on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McGirt. McGirt obviously looking to wear him down.
Hall seems to have recovered his senses. McGirt lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Hall falls backwards - clearly groggy! McGirt dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brad Dillinger! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hiczkok throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Dillinger gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hiczkok changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dillinger fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dillinger stuffs the takedown. Some bone on bone action there as Hiczkok checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Hiczkok has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dillinger has had enough of the clinch but Hiczkok keeps him there for the moment. Dillinger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hiczkok shoots for a takedown but Dillinger saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Hiczkok. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dillinger rushes Hiczkok and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dillinger misses with a hook to the ribs.
Hiczkok is looking to take this one to the mat. Dillinger is trying to break the clinch but Hiczkok has him pressed against the cage. Dillinger is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Hiczkok has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dillinger avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Hiczkok drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dillinger pulls his leg out and moves away.

Hiczkok fails with a takedown attempt. Hiczkok shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dillinger as he jumps to the side. Dillinger moves into the clinch. Dillinger gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hiczkok regains guard.
Dillinger postures up in Hiczkok's guard and throws a big left but Hiczkok blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dillinger stands and steps away. Hiczkok gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dillinger shoots in for a takedown but Hiczkok shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Hiczkok with a poor takedown and Dillinger counters with a takedown into side control. Hiczkok is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dillinger stands up and we're back to a striking position. Hiczkok gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dillinger is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hiczkok knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dillinger on the ground. Dillinger prevents Hiczkok from getting back to his feet. Dillinger controlling from the top position. Dillinger stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hiczkok looks to land a combination but Dillinger avoids it well. No luck for Hiczkok with that takedown attempt. Hiczkok dives in for a single leg takedown but Dillinger sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Dillinger has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hiczkok is trying to keep an underhook but Dillinger manages to get the takedown into half guard. Dillinger stalling. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. It looks like Dillinger might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dillinger closes the distance and clinches. Hiczkok is trying to drag Dillinger to the mat but Dillinger just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Dillinger can't get the takedown.
Dillinger pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dillinger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hiczkok tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dillinger paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hiczkok tries to clinch but Dillinger moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight stays on the outside here - Dillinger looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hiczkok is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hiczkok slips a jab and a cross from Dillinger.

The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dillinger shoots in for a takedown but Hiczkok shows good takedown defense. Hiczkok shoots in for a double leg but Dillinger sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Hiczkok. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dillinger wants to clinch up but Hiczkok keeps it at a distance. Dillinger wants to slow Hiczkok down by chopping away at his legs. Hiczkok takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Brad Dillinger seems to be getting the better of the standup. Dillinger takes the fight into the clinch. Dillinger manages to break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dillinger controlling the position. Hiczkok looking to sit in guard and control but Dillinger gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dillinger stays in close to Hiczkok's body and controls the position. Hiczkok wants to sweep here but Dillinger controlling him for the moment. Tom Hiczkok has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Brad Dillinger is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dillinger cracks Hiczkok with a solid left hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Brad Dillinger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dillinger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

De Silva swings wildly with an uppercut but Lloyd uses good head movement to avoid it. Lloyd avoids a wild elbow strike from De Silva. Nice body punch from De Silva - that landed with a thud.

Dawson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Churchall manages to avoid it. Churchall darts in looking for a takedown but Dawson gets double underhooks and turns Churchall into the cage. Dawson wants to break free but Churchall has control.

Churchall takes a body punch but keeps moving. Dawson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Whack! Dawson lands a heavy head kick that drops Churchall. The ref tackles Dawson to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Churchall was done.

The referee steps in and saves Talon!! Talon is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Li throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
