Cardamom closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ghissi's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cardamom wants to pass the guard but Ghissi is keeping the position.
Cardamom looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Cardamom stands and throws Ghissi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Ghissi tries to buck Cardamom off but Cardamom is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on Ghissi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Cardamom has an Americana. Ghissi didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cardamom is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cardamom hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Flash looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Flash looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Troupe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Flash shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Troupe sprawls well. Troupe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Flash gets slowly back to his feet.

Troupe is working to tighten his grip on Flash's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Flash has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Troupe is really squeezing tight and eventually Flash passes out! Troupe breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

We've been hearing reports that Griffin has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
